Rae couldn't hide how she felt. She was pissed. She knew how much Alpha Kendrick trusted him and lifted him out of nothing. This was what he was doing, selling him out.
Layla held Rae's arm, "We can't stay here for long. If they see us, we're doomed."
"You said you wanted to help, so help me." Rae sighed, wearing a smile on my face.
"We have to be careful, if they catch us. It's not just us. It's Alpha Kendrick." Layla spoke with ease, trying to calm her down.
She was focused on the voices inside. One was rough and seemed a bit more like he was a drunkard and the other sounded younger, nervous. She couldn't see their faces, she wanted to move further.
"They gave him the whole fiber business yet he's not contended and now he wants to sell out the Alpha." Rae's thoughts as she sighed softly.
"The Alpha is not just anyone. He's tough. If you're sure about this, what if the rogues mess up your plan?" He asked, his voice breaking.
