Chapter 1 - Races

Fairies: Fairies have a similar physiology to humans, but when using their magical abilities, their eyes glow and change color in accordance with the element they are wielding. Every fairy is born with an affinity for a specific element, but they have the potential to master control of other elements as well.

Vampires: Have a similar physiology to humans, but require blood or life force via absorption from sentient beings. For their abilities to work.

Vampire BloodlinesPureblood Vampires

Origin: Purebloods are vampires by birth, born from two vampire parents, not transformation.

Traits: They possess their innate powers from a young age; their abilities (e.g., speed, strength, mind control) are often stronger and more refined than others.

Lifespan: Effectively immortal unless killed via decapitation or heart extraction.

Status: The Majority of purebloods hold a rank of nobility and command great respect and influence in vampire society.

Drawbacks: Arrogance, political entanglements, and higher vulnerability to betrayal due to power struggles within pureblood circles, as well as a very low birth rate.

Half-Blood Vampires

Origin: Born from a union between a vampire and a mortal.

Traits: Possess many vampire traits but may also retain some human characteristics, such as being able to walk in partial daylight or show human emotions more vividly.

Lifespan: Long-lived but not truly immortal; may age very slowly or eventually die of natural causes unless embraced fully, and if so, effectively immortal unless killed via decapitation or heart extraction.

Status: Often viewed with suspicion or disdain by purebloods, but sometimes seen as bridges between the two worlds.

Drawbacks: They struggle with identity, their powers can be potentially unstable, and they lack belonging in either world.

Turned Vampires

Origin: Once human, they were transformed into vampires through a ritual or bite.

Traits: Gain supernatural abilities after the turning, but often not as potent or controlled as those of born vampires.

Lifespan: Immortal after transformation.

Status: Considered lowborn or expendable by vampire elites; often used as foot soldiers or enforcers.

Drawbacks: Must adapt to vampiric nature abruptly, risk of going feral or insane is higher in early years.

Werewolves Extinct.
