Chapter 1: Welcome to the Village

Srabon Sharder groaned as he opened his eyes, a dull ache throbbing in his head. The last thing he remembered was a blinding flash of lightning striking his room while he was playing Clash of Clans. Now, he found himself lying on hard, uneven ground, staring up at a cloudless blue sky.

Where am I?

He sat up, his hands pressing into rough dirt. All around him were wooden huts, simple structures with thatched roofs. Smoke drifted lazily from a small forge nearby, and a group of men with burly arms and horned helmets milled about, carrying logs and stones.

Wait a minute… Horned helmets? Wooden huts?

Srabon scrambled to his feet. The layout of the village was disturbingly familiar — the simple huts, the tiny gold mines, the elixir collectors bubbling with pink liquid. It was exactly like a Town Hall 1 village in Clash of Clans.

"This… can't be real," Srabon muttered.

[Welcome, Chief! You have been appointed as the new ruler of this village.]

A translucent screen appeared before his eyes, hovering in the air like a game interface. The words glowed softly, and Srabon instinctively reached out to touch it.

[Your objective: Rebuild the village, train troops, and defend against enemy attacks.]

[Starting resources: 1000 Gold, 1000 Elixir.]

"What the hell?" Srabon whispered, his heart pounding. This had to be a dream. Or a prank. But the dirt beneath his feet felt too real, the distant sounds of hammering and chatter too vivid.

A squat, bearded man with a bushy mustache approached him, wiping sweat from his brow. "Chief! You're awake! Finally!"

Srabon blinked. "Who… who are you?"

"I'm the Builder!" the man said proudly, thumping his chest. "I've been waiting for you. The village is in shambles. We need to rebuild, Chief."

Srabon's gaze swept over the small, dilapidated village. There were barely five huts, a tiny gold mine, a puny barracks, and a single Archer Tower that looked like it was held together by sheer willpower.

[First task: Upgrade the Town Hall to Level 2. Reward: 500 Gold, 500 Elixir.]

Srabon swallowed hard. This was no game. This was real.

And he was the new Chief.

The Builder grinned, rolling up his sleeves. "Leave it to me!"

[Upgrade initiated. Time remaining: 5 minutes.]

While the Builder hammered away at the Town Hall, Srabon explored the village. He inspected the Gold Mine, watching as tiny workers carried chunks of gold to a collection point. The Elixir Collector bubbled with a faint pink glow.

"This is crazy," he muttered. "It's just like the game."

Suddenly, a loud horn echoed through the village. Srabon spun around, eyes wide. A group of goblins emerged from the nearby forest, carrying crude weapons and wearing wicked grins.

[Warning! Goblin Raid incoming! Defend the village!]

Srabon's heart raced. "Builder! What do I do?!"

The Builder dropped his tools and grabbed a wooden club. "Time to fight, Chief!"
