Chapter 1 - Going to the world of wizards

"The current world is one of wizards. Welcome to the System Space. Take the Magic Teacher System with you to guide and serve you."

Standing in a vast white space, Arthur heard a soft, melodious female voice echo in his ears.As he processed his surroundings, a wave of complicated emotions surged within him.Confusion—and a touch of excitement about the unknown future—welled up in his heart.

But soon, Arthur's attention shifted to something the voice had said.

"Magic teacher with you?" he muttered, frowning slightly and stretching his limbs.

A hidden teacher? That would be an incredibly useful golden finger. In a world ruled by cruel and powerful wizards, having a guide like that could mean the difference between life and death.

Pushing aside his tangled emotions, Arthur focused.

"Wait… You mean the kind of hidden teacher who secretly follows the protagonist, stays invisible to others, only reveals himself in dramatic moments, and helps the main character become stronger quickly?"

"Yes," the system replied gently, its tone calm and patient. "Exactly as you imagine."

Arthur nodded in understanding, his gaze sweeping the emptiness around him.White mist. Endless space. No trees. No people. No signs of life.

Certainly no hidden teacher in sight.

"...So where is my hidden magic teacher?" he asked after a pause.

This time, the system's voice took on a playful tone.

"You are."

"Huh?" Arthur's expression froze.

Five minutes later, after a thorough explanation from the system, Arthur finally understood what was going on.

The system didn't assign him a hidden teacher—it made him the hidden teacher.

"Why is this system so weird...?" he grumbled, still trying to digest it all.

Ignoring the complaint, the system continued cheerfully:

"Let's begin your inauguration ceremony, Hidden Magic Teacher."

Suddenly, a flowing black wizard's robe covered in glowing magic runes materialized on Arthur. At the same moment, his short black hair turned pure white.

Yet strangely, he didn't look older. On the contrary—he now radiated an aura of depth and mystery, like a being who grasped the very essence of magic itself.

"Well… I do look like a hidden teacher now," Arthur said with a wry smile. The system's intention was clear. If he was to be a hidden teacher, then he needed to look the part. A powerful image to impress and command respect from students.

Just then, the system's voice rang out again:

"First task: Select disciples to teach.""As a novice benefit, you may choose your first group of disciples.""From now on, disciples will be selected randomly from individuals with high destiny or luck.""Now, you will be sent to a region rich in magical fate within the wizard world."

As the voice faded, Arthur's body vanished from the System Space.

He blinked—and the white void was gone.

Though he'd left that place, Arthur still felt an unbroken link to the system. He could return at any moment, if needed.

Surveying his surroundings, Arthur took in the clear, unpolluted stream beside him and the towering trees that surrounded the area.

He was in a forest, with the sky nearly hidden behind thick foliage. He raised his hand to touch a tree, but his fingers passed through the trunk.

"So this is a soul body? Feels… odd."He withdrew his hand thoughtfully.

As a hidden teacher, Arthur no longer had a physical body. He now existed in a semi-spiritual form—intangible, invisible to most, like a ghost or an ascended being.

Then, distant sounds drifted through the forest—shouting, clashing, and blasts of energy.

Arthur narrowed his eyes.

"A fight?"

Without hesitation, he walked toward the noise.

If I can see what kind of clothes they wear, Arthur thought, I might be able to tell what era this wizard world belongs to.

Although he himself had no physical strength—unable to even "tie a chicken," as the saying went—he was now in an untouchable, illusory state.

Like a higher being, unfathomable to mortals. And besides… most people wouldn't be able to see him at all.

As he neared the source of the commotion, two figures came into view.

One wielded a sword. The other held a magic staff. They fought fiercely, fists and magic colliding in a chaotic dance.

The clang of steel and the crackle of spells filled the air, and both fighters were already bloodied and bruised.

Arthur observed quietly.

"Those robes... even in this world, they look ancient."
