Chapter 1 - In the Arms of Strangers

I slowly opened my eyes, and was greeted by an empty white room.

This… this wasn't where I expected to wake up.

I couldn't feel my body.

It was as if every inch of me had gone numb.

I tried to move my arms… nothing.

My legs… still nothing.

Panic began to creep in. I was paralyzed.

How did I get here?

Why was I in this condition?

All I could remember was leaving home to meet a friend—he had called me urgently, asking me to come see him.

I got into a taxi… and after a while, I started feeling sleepy.

Really sleepy.

Then—nothing. A complete blackout.

And now… I was here.

Lying in this unfamiliar place, surrounded by nothing but silence and an overwhelming white emptiness.

My heart began to pound harder as realization slowly set in.

I had been kidnapped.

But why me?

I tried moving again. Still no response. The only thing I could move was my head.

I turned it slowly, painfully, scanning the room.

Machines. Wires. Monitors.

The place looked like some kind of lab, or maybe… an experimental chamber.

Just as I was trying to make sense of it, I heard footsteps.

Multiple pairs. Coming closer.

Voices. Muffled, but definitely human.

The white door to the room opened. I instinctively turned my head toward the sound.

Two men walked in.

One of them wore a black coat, his face hard and cold.

He looked straight at me and said,

"Oh, so you woke up. But don't worry… our experiment is about to begin. And if you're lucky, you might not die."

His words struck me like lightning.

I swallowed hard, my throat dry and burning.

I tried to speak—to scream—but no sound came out.

My voice was gone. My vocal cords weren't working.

The other man, dressed in a white coat like a doctor, turned toward me.

He listened silently, then looked me in the eyes.

And smiled.

His smile wasn't comforting—it was terrifying.

Just then, I heard footsteps again, many of them, growing louder as they moved closer to me.

I turned my eyes toward the door, and moments later, several people entered the room.

Most of them were wearing white coats like doctors, while a few looked like nurses or assistants.

Everyone quickly got to work.

I felt multiple injections being pushed into different parts of my body.

All the machines I had seen earlier… now their wires were connected all over me.

I was laid out on a stretcher in a strange position—neither lying flat nor sitting upright.

Soon after, they placed a strange helmet-like device over my head, with dozens of wires running from it.

Once everything was set up, most of the people left the room—only a few important-looking ones remained.

I was watching everything… but couldn't say a single word.

I was terrified.

They didn't even bother to make me unconscious.

The injections had left my body even more numb than before—so much that now I couldn't even move my head.

The man in the white coat stared into my eyes one last time and said coldly,

"Get ready for the experiment. We'll begin with a short-circuit treatment."

His words sent a chill down my spine.

I tried to shake my head, tried to move my arms and legs, but I was completely helpless.

Then came the first electric shock.

It wasn't too powerful, but the pain shot through every inch of my body.

It was sharp, strange, unnatural.

I heard someone in the room say, "Increase the circuit power."

The second shock was stronger—far stronger than the first.

It felt like my body was about to break from within.

Like I wouldn't survive the next one.

And then came the third shock—this time, the power was even more intense.

Despite all the sedatives and injections in my system, I let out a scream—loud, guttural, filled with pain.

My vision blurred, darkness crept in…

And just before I lost consciousness, only one thought echoed in my mind:

"Is this the end? Am I really going to die… without ever living my life?"

"Why… why is this happening to me?"

---

"Look! The Lord is awake!"

That voice pulled me back into consciousness.

My eyes were still heavy. I struggled to open them.

In my head, questions swirled—"Am I not dead? Did someone save me? Who could it be?"

But as I finally managed to open my eyes… the sight above me stunned me.

This wasn't a hospital ceiling.

It didn't look modern at all.

I blinked a few times and looked more carefully.

The ceiling was high—very high.

And the room… every corner of it was wrapped in golden textures. Rich. Elegant. Regal.

It looked like something straight out of a royal palace from a fantasy drama.

I glanced around, hoping to see someone—but the room was big, luxurious, and eerily quiet.

That silence made me wonder—"Am I in heaven?"

"Did I really die and end up… here?"

But then I remembered the voice I had heard.

Someone had spoken. Who was it?

I was still lost in confusion when I tried to move my head, then my arms and legs—and to my surprise, they responded.

I felt… fine. Normal. Alive.

Quickly, I pushed myself up and sat on the bed.

It was a massive, royal-looking bed—soft, high, and covered with silky sheets.

Before I could think more, the large doors of the room burst open.

Two women and a man rushed inside.

Their faces were lit up with joy.

But I was still overwhelmed with confusion.

What struck me even more was the way the two women were dressed—or rather, barely dressed.

They were beautiful, curvaceous, and wore clothing that covered only the most necessary parts of their bodies.

I didn't even get a chance to say anything before both women rushed forward and hugged me tightly.

Their large chests pressed against my body as they held me close,

So firmly that their softness molded into my form.

I froze.
