Having been unconscious for half a day, Lydia slowly opened her eyes, her vision only twenty percent clear, and heard a voice in the background.
"Don't worry, she will be fine."
Her hand slowly moved, feeling the soft sheets beneath her. Her eyes immediately popped open as she looked at the luxurious ceiling.
"Where am I?" she murmured.
She quickly sat up and scanned the room with her eyes, which landed on two figures, a middle aged woman and a guy in his early twenties.
She squinted her eyes when she found the guy familiar. She looked directly at him, dumbfounded, and he stared back, his amber eyes locking with hers before he spoke.
"You're awake."
His voice was deep and alluring, which made Lydia freeze before looking away.
"That guy... He's the one in my dreams," Lydia muttered under her breath, her mind filled with different thoughts.
"You can leave now," he said, directing the words to the woman.
She bowed and left, leaving Lydia and him alone.
