"Lydia."
Hearing Caleb's voice, she turned back, staring at him in surprise and wondering why he was here.
"What now? Are you stalking me again?" she questioned in an impatient tone, and she watched him smirk.
"Why would I do that? I heard when you saw the Alpha, you feigned fainting and he caught you. It seems you're really good at drawing guys of high standing's attention."
Hearing his words, Lydia frowned. The story had been twisted again, but this time, she did not seem to care.
"So what? Besides, you are not a guy of high standing. You and the Alpha are worlds apart. Just because you're not a guard doesn't make you more important or noble than them," she lashed out, and Caleb laughed in disbelief.
