Chapter 39 - One million Karma Points

The next few minutes that followed was thick with apprehension.

Seven people became Warriors, four became zombies, and some experienced no change at all even when almost an hour had passed, making Sienna raise a brow.

'Is it possible for those touched by the rain not to become anything?' She asked Cissy in her mind.

The response?

She needed 50 Karma Points to unlock the answer.

Sienna almost refused.

Her precious Karma Points!

It didn't help that she called the system stingy. Its reply was that it needed the points to login into some sort of information base since details like this weren't mentioned in the novel.

At the end of the day, knowing would save her from making the wrong choice.

Gritting her teeth, she paid the 50 Karma Points.

And the answer was clear. Yes.

It's very much possible to be hit by the rain and not shift. It took at most an hour for someone to turn. If they didn't, then the mana energy in their body was under-saturated, so there was no reaction.
