Stacy's POV

I pondered on everything he had said to me and realized that he was right. Survival here was hard, and if we wanted to live, we had to move to a different location. 

"He's right, you know; maybe he's not such a bad person. Besides, he's been there since day—" My thoughts were interrupted by his words.

"You seem so lost in thought. What's the matter?" He asked with raised brows, staring at me with eyes that showed worry.

"I'm thinking." 

"About what?" He asked with raised brows and then took a seat close to me, which surprised me. Was he slowly getting used to my presence?

Well, I would rather not think much about it, so I pulled my legs close to my chest. 

"You aren't saying anything; what's the matter?" This time, he held my chin and slowly turned my face towards where he sat.
