I didn't know how long we stood there, but I loved every bit of it. Something about him seemed to draw me in. Yet, I couldn't explain it.
"I seriously didn't picture myself standing with you and having such a conversation. It wasn't about the rumours, though," I said to make my point known. "It was because you were always so cold, and I thought it was some kind of pride."
He turned away. "I had always been treated coldly, so I just gave off the energy that had been stored inside of me since I was a child."
"Really, was the world that cruel to you?" She asked, seemingly interested in whatever I had to say to her.
"The world thought I was a monster." He concluded without any other words for about a minute before he continued.
"The world has always been cruel to people like us. I know it's hard to believe, but it seems so true. The pack saw me as a monster, and not one person could hide that."
