Drathan was playing dungeons and mythrills an MMORPG where you play as an elf human orc or demi-human each race gives a different buff but the true highlight of the game was the dungeons these expansive labyrinths where you would slay monsters for their drops and find loot the deeper you go the harder the monsters get but the more items they drop and better rewards.
He had just got the game yesterday although he couldn't fully enjoy it as there was currently construction going on right next his apartment but never mind that their was one race that drathan loved to play the half-elf 4.6ft human hybrid The Best of both worlds they were fast and could upgrade till they evolved into an holy elf not many players achieve it though.
Meanwhile next to drathan,s house the wrecking ball operator spilled his cola on the controls making the wrecking ball go haywire as it's swung around it slammed directly through drathan apartment wall shattered his TV flipped him out of the couch and smashed him into the hallway the impact from a wrecking ball had shattered a lot of major organs causing internal bleeding.
Drathan began to cough up a lot of blood as he was able to turn his head to his right he reached for his Dusty controller before his arm fell limp and he died his soul was pulled out of his body and into some cosmic void he seen an 16 year old teenager casually taking a bath in an universe he turned to drathan and waved accidentally tipping another universe off balance causing it to smash into another universe creating a multiverse.

The 16-year-old chuckled and spoke nadius:yo I am Nadius um I'm basically a fledgling reincarnation god I was looking for someone to reincarnate for the first time and I saw how gruesome and unfortunate your death was so I decided you would be the lucky winner to be reincarnated so I'm going to reincarnate now and give you a golden finger to help you out.
Before drathan was thrusted through a black hole into a completely different universe he felt nothing but darkness around him he heard the shouting of an woman mixed with a lizard as he suddenly started being moved until he heard a wet sloppy sound SQUELCH! slorp suddenly he was once again moved and placed somewhere he still couldn't see he decided to try and find a way out as he pushed something cracked there was a small bit of light shining through he pushed a little harder it cracks him more he moved back as far as he could in this cramped space before pushing himself forward sliding out into an claybrick room inside an bed of flowers and grassblades.
Confused as heck as to what was going on he looked around and seen an 3.2ft tall kobold woman the way you could tell the difference between genders was because females weren't only larger they were stronger as well the kobold woman spoke with joy in her voice dailena: welcome into the world my little najasho!. She said as she licked him clean.

Najasho couldn't believe it he was a kobold an humanoid reptile with a set of horns then again he couldn't complain he could have been reincarnated as a worm or an mantis so he would have to make do what he had and that wasn't much the only good thing about kobolds is that they lived in groups of up to 12.
14 days later
Najasho was now fully grown a day after his birth he was taken from his mother who happened to be the lieutenant and one of the 10 females in the group out of 14 kobolds only 4 were male including himself after being taken he was trained in the way of the spear and Rusty sword just in case he lost his spear he reached full maturity within those 14 days as it only takes 14 days for kobolds to be considered adults they're maximum life expectancy is 64 days the only way to extend it past 2 months is to evolve.
Which currently no kobold has done yet and najasho situation somehow became worse as the mortal enemy of the kobolds imps the hellborn cousins of goblins they were smaller with sharp nails and at the end of their tails there was a small ax like formation and they were capable of using weak fire magic oh and I forgot to mention they're just as horny while the kobolds we're stuck with scales crude weapons such as Rusty swords and Spears and no type of magic at all.
To make it worse kobold,s had no armor only torn up cloth guards to protect their gentiles from being seen and Ironically it was imp siege day where the imps would attack and try and get to the female kobolds the life line of kobold tribes najasho had to come to learn from his mother that there had been multiple kobold tribes but stronger monster tribes would kill them off and that they were the last kobolds in the dungeon.
As najasho and his 3 battle comrades held the line the two strongest were equipped with Rusty swords stood in the front while najasho and his one and only friend slark he was an black kobold one of the most Savage and ruthless while najasho was an red and black fusion you see kobolds were ranked in the color of their scales the power ranking sort of went like this.
Red:courageous and brave
Black:Savage and strong
Blue:timd and kind hearted
Green:weak and sacrificial
Purple:cunning and treacherous
Yellow:honest and sense of honor.
And slark and najasho ended up becoming best friends as slark was mocked by the red kobolds up front for not living up to his color,s title as an wave of 10 imps ranging from levels 2 to 3 surged directly down the path the two red kobolds in front slashed away cutting one or two of the imps down everytime one of them pasted by them when a trio of imps got past the two red kobolds holding the line najasho raised up his spear and thrusted it forward as an imp tried to slash his eyes out.
The spear tore through the imp,s heart as it went limp on the spear najasho swung the rusty spear to the side thrown the imp's corpse over the two man barricade najasho noticed the imp about to tear into his best friend slark and immediately pulled his arm back and threw his spear hitting the imp through the armpit through the other side of its left armpit and skewing it to the wall as it howled out in absent pain before falling limp.
As the final imp of the trio jumped at najasho who couldn't react in time slark in a desperate attempt to save his only friend chucked his spear as hard as he could as the rusty weapon flew through the air hitting the imp directly in the head as it's body laid flat in the air before hitting the ground slark smiled at najasho as they continue to slaughter the imps that got past the two red kobolds after a couple of minutes of fighting the remaining three imps retreated.
As najasho and slark plus the two red kobolds gathered the imps corpse and brought them into their camp it was just some circular area within the dungeon just wide enough for them to huddle together on the floor as they threw down the imp corpses as najasho used flint and a thick rock while gathering some twigs and grass blades and flowers that grew out of the ground in between the clay bricks of the labyrinth together and thrusted the Flint and stone together creating Sparks lighting a large enough fire to roast the imps.
Najasho looked at his system and looked at the EXP he had gained and was quite happy with it system:[you killed a level 2 imp 20 exp]

As the roasted the imps their meat was tough and chewy the only one who really liked to eat them was slark he found their meat delicious after forcing themselves to eat their hard-earned kills when everyone went to sleep najasho would wake up slark and they would explore small pieces of the dungeon hoping to find leftover equipment they could use to upgrade their defenses.
Truth be told najasho before reincarnation when he had played the game I found a hidden chest in the area that contained two sets of reinforced monster leather armor perfect for starters as they walked stealthily they came across a chest as they opened it inside was reinforced monster leather armor in pristine condition and there was two sets of it.

As they return to the camp everyone was up early as they didn't know if another imp attack would come or not but when slark and najasho arrived they were stunned the duo somehow got their hands on leather armor not knowing it was reinforced monster leather armor red kobold 1: what where did you guys find that?. Najasho brush past him and spoke confidently najasho:we went exploring and found it in a chest and now we're going to go take on the entirety of the imp army.
Everyone in the nest burst it out into laughter take on an entire army just because they got some fancy new armor they would surely get themselves killed but no one wanted to voice this stupidity except one of the red kobolds who couldn't contain not speaking about this idiocy red kobold 2:you think you're a hot shot now because you got some leather armor thinking you can take on a whole army whatever going to yourself killed it'll drop off dead weight anyway.
Najasho just chuckled at him as he and slark grabbed multiple weapons najasho kept the bundle of Spears on his back while slark dual wielded a pair of Rusty axes they had in storage as they walked down the dungeon corridors they stopped at the imp have in the middle of all the imps was an female greater imp being bred by one of the few fertile males the imps had left once they noticed slark and najasho the female imps quickly took to defend the 3 male imps left.
As the greater imp the size of a human being stepped up to eradicate the threat along with some other imps as they started to charge surprisingly to najasho slark brush forward swinging his axes cutting down imp after imp like butter even throwing one of his axes in the head of an imp after retrieving his ax he went for the greater imp only to be grabbed out of the air by the neck and slammed into the ground.
But najasho ran up twirling his Rusty spear cutting the greater imp on the right arm creating a small cut that bled a little as the greater imp roared she threw slark at najasho as najasho caught slark he threw his spear as hard as he could as it flew through the air it hit the greater imp in the shoulder making her mad but najasho wasn't afraid as he ran up jumped in the air extended his right leg kicked her in the face for twirling around and hitting her with a spin kick with his left leg.
Knocking her off balance as the greater imp stumbled backwards slamming into the ground najasho pull his spear out of her shoulder making her crying in pain as he jumped into the air and thrusted his spear through her heart killing the greater imp roared one last time before she died slark and najasho we're about to exterminate the rest of the imps until they started to run away safeguarding the only males with in their tribe some of the female imps even is going as far as sacrificing themselves only to be slaughtered by slark and najasho.
Suddenly the system appeared in front of najasho system:[you have killed level 5 greater imp you have been rewarded 50 exp evolution threshold reached you will now go into deep sleep were you shall pick your evolution.]
In the end the imps managed to escape as slark and najasho sighed najasho and slark suddenly felt tired as they passed out surrounded by corpses as najasho was thrusted into a deep sleep three evolution choices appeared before him all of them quite good.

Najasho was having light trouble choosing but it was obviously the second option gaining the ability of flight was something rarely a lot of races could obtain without a doubt in his mind he picked the second option as fell into a deeper sleep he woke up a couple of hours later this time with stronger scales a more draconic shaped jaw and wings covered in red and black scales like the rest of his body and he had new skills.
