Chapter 37 - The Apex Predator

The warehouse was a battlefield. Broken beams, shattered windows, and blood-stained concrete told the story of a fight no one had ever survived intact.

Kang moved like a living nightmare. Every strike was measured, every clinch calculated. The Black Serpent's Coil flowed from him effortlessly, crushing bones and draining strength.

Crushing Force

Mikey lunged with the Dempsey Phantom, fists blurring, trying to overwhelm Kang with sheer speed and volume. Kang smirked, caught Mikey's punch mid-air, and twisted his arm violently. Mikey cried out in pain as the joint cracked.

Jin launched his Heavenly Triple Kick, trying to strike three points at once. Kang read the motion, sidestepped with uncanny precision, and countered with a brutal spinning elbow that sent Jin sprawling across the floor.

Every attack Kang delivered carried mental and physical punishment, leaving both Mikey and Jin gasping, bruised, and terrified.

Psychological Domination

Kang's eyes were cold, empty—sociopathic. He whispered as he attacked:"You think your strength, your techniques… make you ready? I've lived hell, and I've come out stronger. You're still children playing with fire."

He pushed Mikey into a wall with one knee, making him struggle to breathe.

He pinned Jin with a clinch, whispering into his ear while effortlessly keeping him off balance.

The fear was suffocating; even Jin's cocky grin faltered under the weight of Kang's presence.

The Calm Before the Storm

As Kang stepped back, the two fighters were battered, bleeding, and barely able to stand.

He circled them slowly, like a predator studying prey."You've improved… but it's meaningless. The real hunt begins next."

The warehouse fell silent. Dust drifted in the dim light. Mikey and Jin looked at each other—pain, fear, and determination burning in their eyes.

Kang's shadow stretched across the floor, the embodiment of the nightmare that neither of them could ignore.
