"I found her unconscious in front of the Sacred Tree." A loud voice rang out as I slowly opened my eyes to see a bunch of people surrounding me.
"Uh... Hello?" I ask, causing everyone to turn and look over at me, but then a guy walks over to me with a suspicious expression.
"Who the hell are you?!" The guy with long white hair and a loud voice exclaims, but I then look up to see he had dog ears, and I put on a confused expression.
"Are they real?" I question, causing the other people to chuckle.
"She's definitely got to be from Lady Kagome's time." The guy dressed in priest attire responds, and my eyes widen.
"You guys know my cousin?" I ask, and then a little kid with a fox tail rushes over to me.
"You and Kagome are related?" The Fox kid questions, and I nod.
"I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you." I greet, and the Fox child grins.
"I'm the great Fox Demon Shippo!" Shippo proclaims with a confident expression.
"Pfft, great my ass... How did ya get here anyway?!" The dog-eared guy exclaims, causing me to glance down at my necklace that was hidden in my shirt.
"Inuyasha, you don't have to be so rude." The girl who looks a little older than me, with a little cat-looking demon on her lap, insists. "Should I tell them, but if they're the group that Kagome travels with to find the shards, they're definitely gonna want it." I think as I look back up to them.
"I-I honestly have no idea... One moment, I was staring at the Sacred Tree, but then once I touched it, everything went black." I informed and caused them all to look over at me once more.
"So the Tree of Ages brought ye child here, but for what purpose?" An old lady, who hadn't said anything, began walking over to me.
"I couldn't-" I suddenly feel something touch my butt, causing me to quickly grab it and twist.
"Ow!" I see the priest's hand in my grasp, and I glare at him. "So there are even perverts in this time." I think, but he then clears his throat.
"Miroku, you Lech!" The girl calls out, but Miroku chuckles with an apologetic expression.
"Oh, this pesky hand, I swear it's cursed." The priest joked, but I tightened my grip.
"Touch me again and I'll break it," I warn as I let go of his hand, causing him to nod, but then the girl walks over to me with a smile.
"Hi, I'm Songo, and this is Kirara." Songo greets as she holds up the cat-like demon with 2 tails.
"Nice to meet you." I smile.
"Mow." Kirara sounds.
"She's so adorable!" I chirp as Songo sets her down. Suddenly, I hear a scoff, causing me to look over at Inuyasha, who walks out of the hut.
"He's such a difficult fellow." The old lady remarks, causing me to look over at her.
"You know he always gets like this when Kagome's gone, Granny Keade," Shippo adds.
"Wait, is he the bad boy boyfriend Kagome's friends were talking about?!" I exclaim, and everyone turns to me with confused expressions.
"They are pretty close..." Songo trails off, but Miroku chuckles.
"Inuyasha a badboy? That guy is as far from that." Miroku states.
"SIT BOY!" A familiar voice rang out, and I put on a worried expression.
"Kagome's back!" Shippo calls out as I see her come through the blinds on the door.
"Oh, thank God (Y/N)!" Kagome cries out as she rushes over to me and embraces me.
"We were all so worried when you weren't in you're room and nowhere to be found..." Kagome trails off, and I let out a sigh.
"I'm sorry, but it technically wasn't my fault." I made known, and Kagome nods.
"Inuyasha said you were unconscious in front of the Sacred Tree. Are you injured?" Kagome asks, and I shake my head.
"No, I think that's just where I was spit out after I was sucked into the tree in our time," I answer as Kagome helps me to my feet.
"We need to get you back to our time." Kagome insists as she begins to drag me out of the house. "She wants me to leave already?!" I wonder, but Miroku clears his throat.
"Wait, Lady Kagome. If (Y/N) came through the tree, then going through the well might not work." Miroku informs, and I nod.
"It could just place me in the wrong time since I didn't go through it." I point out. "I definitely don't want to go back, at least for right now." I think it causes Kagome to put on a desperate expression.
"Then what are we gonna do?" Kagome asks, but Kaede then walks over to us.
"The Sacred Tree has sent ye for a purpose. I'm sure once it's fulfilled, the Tree will allow ye to go back." Kaede answers.
"I guess she'll be traveling with us then." Songo points out as she gets up.
"No way in hell!" Inuyasha roars as he enters the hut.
"You're just going to have to deal with it, Inuyasha." Miroku counters.
"It's going to be dangerous, and she's just an ordinary human." Inuyasha re-counters.
"From the way she grabbed the monk's wrist, I think she has what it takes to be trained in the art of Demon Slaying," Songo states. "Demon slaying?" I wonder as I put my pointer finger to my chin.
"Well, I did practice Martial Arts since I was a kid," I inform, but Inuyasha scoffs once again.
"You get yourself killed, it's not on me." Inuyasha declares as he walks back out of the hut, but Kagome then chases after him.
"Don't you worry, (Y/N). I will protect you!" Shippo proclaims, and I nod.
"I'll be counting on you, Shippo," I respond, but then Songo begins putting her hair up in a ponytail.
"Let me get changed and we'll start you're first lesson." Songo points out.
"Wait, we're starting today?" I question, and Songo chuckles.
"The sooner the better," Songo responds as she walks passed me and out of the hut. "Looks like I'm gonna be the new Demon Slayer in town." I think as I walk out of the hut, but then feel eyes on me, causing me to feel a bit uneasy. Without realizing it, I begin walking in an unknown direction, but as I pop back into reality, I begin looking around to see I'm in the forest.
"The same attire... Are you and she of the same world?" A deep voice sounds from behind me, causing me to quickly turn around, but there's no one there.
"Whose there?!" I exclaim, but an evil chuckle rings out as the wind begins to blow towards me.
"I look forward to meeting you." The deep voice whispers into my ear, but I look around to see that no one is there, and the presence I was feeling is completely gone as well.
"W-who the hell was that?" I ask as chills runs up my spine.
