*High above the Supreme Kai's world lies another divine realm…

The World of the Gods of Destruction.

Whis, the Angel who always watches over the universe, suddenly sensed a strange disturbance below. Holding his staff, he peered into the cosmic events unfolding.

At first, he wasn't interested—fights happen all the time. But when he saw the battle power of Majin Buu and Bardock, his attention sharpened.

For Whis, it had been countless years since he had seen such warriors clash.

"Hm? The shockwave of their punch destroyed a planet? Interesting… That creature called Buu is stronger than I thought," Whis said calmly.

Then his eyes shifted to Bardock. With a faint smile, he added:

"A Saiyan… Bardock, was it? To think you've grown so much in just a few decades. You've even touched the realm of the gods…"

Whis' tone was light, but his interest was real. For an immortal who often found eternity boring, this was a rare spectacle worth watching.

He already knew of Majin Buu's existence long ago. But he never considered Buu a true threat—after all, Buu destroyed planets, and destruction was simply part of a God of Destruction's job.

With Beerus asleep, Buu's rampages almost made the Angel's work easier.

But Bardock… Bardock was different. Whis had sensed him decades ago, when Bardock was pulled through time and space. Back then, he was no more than an insect.

Whis could've erased him instantly. He didn't. Out of curiosity, he let the Saiyan live.

And now… that insect had grown into something that could stand on the level of gods.

Whis chuckled softly.

"How fascinating. The timeline itself is shifting into unknown territory. Things are about to get very… entertaining."

He leaned on his staff, eyes shining, saying nothing more—just watching.

That was Whis. Mysterious, calm, knowing everything, yet revealing nothing.

Meanwhile, in the lower realm of the universe…

The dark planet was gone, blown apart by Bardock and Majin Buu's battle.

Now the two stood on drifting fragments of broken rock, staring each other down.

The air was tense.

Bardock clenched his fists. For him, this fight was nothing more than a warm-up. After decades without unleashing his full strength, Majin Buu was the perfect opponent to get serious against.

But Majin Buu had something else in mind.

He grinned wickedly, eyes locked on Bardock. In truth, Buu wasn't just fighting—he was plotting. He wanted to absorb Bardock, to make Bardock's strength his own.

While Bardock watched, unaware, a small lump of pink flesh slid across a rock behind him, controlled by Buu's will.

"…What's this guy planning?" Bardock thought, frowning.

Then he sensed it—something strange creeping behind him.

"So that's your trick… you're trying to absorb me?"

A smirk tugged at Bardock's lips. He wasn't worried. He had already figured out Buu's move.

"Now… let's see how far you'll go," Bardock thought calmly.

"Yeeaah!!!" Majin Buu screamed, suddenly springing his trap.

The pink blob launched itself at Bardock, wrapping him in an instant. Buu's flesh engulfed him whole, sealing tight to prevent any escape.

Buu laughed wildly, shaking with joy like a child who got his favorite toy.

"Hahaha!! I got you! You're mine now!!"

To anyone watching, it looked like Bardock had been completely absorbed.

Hidden nearby on a chunk of debris, a round figure had been quietly observing. His eyes widened in shock as he saw Bardock swallowed.

"No! If Buu absorbs him, it's over!" he cried.

But then he paused. His senses told him something different.

"…Wait. That's strange. Buu isn't changing. His power hasn't increased…"

The mysterious figure narrowed his eyes and stayed quiet, deciding to watch. He could feel something was off.

Back in the Supreme Kai's world, East Supreme Kai Shin nearly panicked, clutching his head.

"No!! This is my fault! I should've warned Bardock about Buu's absorption ability!"

But West Supreme Kai remained calm, studying the fight.

"Relax. Look closely. Doesn't something seem… wrong? Buu hasn't changed."

Shin blinked, stunned. He turned back to the vision.

Buu, who had been laughing like a maniac, suddenly froze.

His grin faltered. His body trembled. His eyes widened as if struck from the inside.

Then his mouth frothed with spit, as if he were being poisoned.

The laughter turned into choking.

Majin Buu was in pain.*

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Explosions echoed inside Majin Buu's body.

The violent impacts tore through him, filling his insides with pain so sharp it felt like he'd been thrown into hell itself. His muscles twitched uncontrollably, acid spewed from his mouth, and his whole body warped—swelling and shrinking over and over.

Something was rampaging inside him, destroying everything in its path.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Buu screamed as the pain in his brain skyrocketed, ten times worse than anything he had ever felt. The roar blasted through space like a shockwave, shattering the broken chunks of planets around him.

His body kept twisting and deforming until—

BOOOOOM!!!

An enormous explosion ripped out of Buu from the inside, tearing his whole body to pieces. The blast was even greater than when the dark planet had exploded earlier.

At the very center of the explosion stood Bardock—completely unharmed. In his hand, he held something strange…

It was a massive cocoon of pink flesh. Inside was a burly figure.

The Supreme Kai of the South!

Buu had swallowed him earlier, but Bardock had pulled him out alive.

"Heh. Tough guy… even stuck inside Buu this long and still breathing," Bardock muttered, glancing at the two-meter cocoon.

Bardock had let himself be absorbed on purpose—he wanted to blow Buu apart from the inside. He knew Buu's body was a weird, twisted dimension. Inside, Bardock's power was suppressed while Buu's was boosted. But Bardock had gone all out, releasing enough power to rip Buu's body apart from within.

Saving South Kai was just something he did along the way.

But then—

GLURP! GLURP!

The broken pieces of Majin Buu scattered in space suddenly started pulling back together.

Bardock frowned. "Tch… figures. Even full power wasn't enough to finish you."

The pink flesh reformed, but the being that appeared wasn't the bulky, muscle-bound Buu from before.

He had shrunk. His power had dropped. His body was smaller, leaner, more twisted—

It was Kid Buu.

Without the South Kai trapped inside, Buu had lost a huge source of power. His energy was weaker than before, but his aura was pure chaos—evil in its rawest form.

Kid Buu glared at Bardock. This time, there was no smirk, no arrogance. His eyes were filled with something else.

Fear.

Bardock narrowed his eyes. "What's wrong? You were acting tough before… now you look scared."

Kid Buu's body trembled, steam blasting out of the holes across his skin. He snarled, clenching his fists, but he didn't move.

The truth was clear. The monster who lived only for destruction… was terrified of Bardock.

Bardock felt it too. The fight was already over.

"The warm-up's done," Bardock said calmly, his voice cold. "You're not even worth playing with anymore."

Then—

FWOOOSH!

His aura shifted. Black hair lifted in a wild wind as golden sparks flashed around him. In a single instant, his hair blazed into gold. His body glowed with a divine, contained power. The air itself trembled under the transformation.

Bardock had become a Super Saiyan.

Not just a regular one—this was Super Saiyan at full power. His energy wasn't leaking wildly. It was sharp, controlled, overwhelming.

Kid Buu's eyes widened, his whole body shaking uncontrollably. The pressure smashed into him like a mountain, breaking the last bit of his will to fight.

The so-called invincible Majin Buu had never felt this before—true fear.
