Under the old Supreme Kai's explanation, Bardock finally understood the bigger picture about higher gods, thanks to both him and the Grand Supreme Kai.
It worked out for both sides.
The Kais were using Bardock in their own way — pushing him toward things like meeting the Gods of Destruction one day.
And Bardock? He was using them too, to learn more and make contact with stronger beings.
This way, it all made sense. He wasn't just some guy from five million years in the future who magically knew everything.
After all, even angels themselves could cross timelines… and Bardock hadn't even touched that level yet.
But one thing was clear — Bardock could let people know he was from the future.
What he couldn't let anyone know… was that he was a time traveler.
Scene Change – Deep Space
Leaving the Kai's realm, Bardock set his course for the Demon Realm. He wanted to visit his daughter — it had almost been a year since he'd last seen her.
It wasn't her birthday yet, but since he had no plans to return to Planet Sadala for a while, he decided this came first.
To Bardock, it was a debt he owed her.
His daughter had been living in the Demon Realm with Towa ever since she was born. He had thought about bringing her back to Sadala, maybe even having Towa live there too… but she was the Demon Realm's ruler. That responsibility couldn't just be abandoned.
"Let's stop by Earth first," Bardock muttered with a grin. "I promised that little girl a dinosaur last time."
He teleported instantly, vanishing into space.
New Planet – Prehistoric Earth
Bardock arrived on a planet he had discovered half a year ago — Earth, though still stuck in a Cretaceous-like age.
Dinosaurs ruled the land, oceans, and skies.
Breaking through the atmosphere, Bardock gazed down at the endless greenery, oceans, and mountain ranges. It looked so much like Earth from his old life that he decided to call it "Earth Star."
Flying lower, he spotted herds of massive beasts, towering like kings of the land.
A giant pterosaur screeched and dived straight at him.
Bardock smirked. "Heh. Your instincts should've told you not to mess with me."
With a flick of his ki, the beast exploded into dust — a quick warning to the others circling above. The rest backed off instantly.
Continuing his descent, Bardock soon locked eyes on a fierce Tyrannosaurus rex, ten meters tall and twenty meters long.
"Perfect. You'll do."
The T-Rex ignored him at first, but then things changed. It shrank rapidly, compressed by Bardock's ki, until it fit neatly between his fingers like a tiny hamster.
"Done."
He stored the little dino inside a capsule case he'd prepared earlier, then teleported away from Earth Star.
He didn't know it yet… but that planet would become the Earth of the Dragon Ball timeline, five million years later.
Scene Change – Demon Realm
Bardock emerged in a dark starfield.
In front of him, a massive rift in space swirled like a chaotic storm — the entrance to the Demon Realm.
One step inside, and a new world stretched out before him:
Dark red continents, jagged mountains, eerie fortresses glowing with crimson light…
This was the Demon Realm.
The Demon Realm!
This isn't part of the normal universe. No gods rule here. It's a dimension of its own, powered by a massive blood-red moon that hangs in the sky.
That moon gives life to the Demon Realm, filling the land with energy and feeding the creatures that live here. At the same time, it's a dangerous blessing—because not every lifeform can handle its power. Many demons are destroyed by the very energy that keeps this world alive.
That's why the Demon Realm has one rule: the strong survive.
Only those who can endure the blood moon's power can live here.
When Bardock first entered this world, his strength was already enough to withstand the demonic energy. Anyone weaker would've been corrupted, or turned into a mindless demon.
Floating high above the land, Bardock narrowed his eyes. "Been a while since I came here… feels different somehow."
He stretched out his aura and scanned the land below. His eyes sharpened.
"The demons here… they've all gotten stronger. Way stronger than last time."
His gaze rose to the blood moon. The energy radiating from it was purer now, mixed with some strange force he couldn't place.
"Hmph. Something big happened here this year… guess I'll have to ask Towa. No one knows this realm better than her."
With that, Bardock shot off toward the Demon King's Palace.
Scene – Demon King's Palace
In the center of the Demon Realm stood a massive palace, built in a twisted, dark style.
Inside, Towa — ruler of the Demon Realm — sat on the throne. Her aura filled the hall, both seductive and terrifying. With one leg crossed over the other, she swirled a glass of glowing crimson wine in her hand, her beauty almost unreal.
But her mood was foul.
"Hmph… sitting in this palace day after day, what's the point?!" Towa muttered, downing the wine in one gulp. Her thoughts turned, as always, to one man. Bardock.
Her anger grew, and the glass in her hand shattered into dust.
"That idiot. Why stay on Planet Sadala when everything he needs is here?! The Demon Realm is the greatest training ground in existence! Why leave me here alone?"
It had been more than half a year since Bardock last visited. The thought made her chest tighten with both anger and longing.
At that moment, a familiar voice echoed in the hall.
"The life here might be enough for you, Towa… but for me, it's just a cage."
Her head snapped up, eyes wide.
"You…!"
Bardock stood there, right in front of her.
"You still remember how to come back?" Towa sneered, her voice trembling with both fury and relief. "Half a year ago you rejected me, and now you think you can just show up again?! You don't care about me… or even your own daughter!"
Bardock raised his hands slightly. "Hey, Towa… calm down. Let's talk this out, alright?"
"Calm down?!" Her ki exploded like a tidal wave, shaking the entire hall. "You think I'm angry? I'm not angry!"
The pressure of her power crashed over Bardock. He instinctively measured it with his ki sense — a trick granted by the dragon's wish. His eyes widened.
"Towa… your strength… it's skyrocketed since last time."
Her energy had reached the seventh dimension, and it was still climbing.
Bardock clenched his fists in surprise. "Unbelievable… in just half a year, you've grown this much? Last time, you were barely at Majin Buu's level. Now… you're on a whole other scale."
