The Rise of the God of Death

Chapter 30: Daren vs The Mysterious Guy

As Daimon secured his victory and left to rest, Zoldink was carried off to the medics, leaving only two hours before the second round—Daren vs the mysterious cloaked man. Daren found Daimon in the resting room and asked, "Did you learn anything about him?" Daimon, calm but sharp, replied, "No one knows him... but I do."

Daren blinked, confused. "How is that possible?"

"He's unknown in every record, even in the Land of God," Daimon said darkly. "That means he's not from here. He's from Omniverse 10—an assassin."

"Omniverse? What is that?" Daren asked.

"It's the higher structure... a system of worlds. Something only known to gods," Daimon answered coldly.

Daren nodded and turned to leave, but Daimon gave one last warning: "Whatever you think or want... if you feel real danger—surrender."

Daren clenched his fist. "Thanks... but I won't lose."

Half an hour later, Daimon left in search of the Competition CEO. He suspected he might know something. An hour passed, and the arena was filled once again.

Daren and the mysterious man stood on the stage. The crowd was tense. The commentator asked if they were ready. Daren nodded. But the mysterious man raised his hand, walked forward, and leaned into Daren's ear, whispering something.

Daren's expression froze—then turned pale with fury.

The man returned to his place and nodded to begin.

The bell rang. Daren erupted with power, shattering the air around him. Rank after rank broke around him—Vice Commander… Commander… then *pinnacle Lord*—his aura surging like a storm.

He rushed Zypher with overwhelming force, landing a punch charged with all his rage—but Zypher caught it with one hand.

Daren, wide-eyed, shouted, "What's your name, bastard?!"

"Zypher," he replied with a cold grin. "The one who'll end you."

Suddenly, Zypher channeled all his energy into his leg and *stomped*—a burst of raw aura tore through the arena without even cracking the floor. Daren lost his footing for a second—that's all Zypher needed. He flashed forward, clenched his fist, and *slammed* it into Daren's chest, sending him crashing down with crushing force.

The crowd gasped.

The commentator was about to declare the match—when something *unexpected* happened…
