When Cecilia woke up the next morning, Blaze was already gone.
The room was cold and still, not even a trace of his scent lingering in the air.
She couldn't remember anything that had happened. She'd slept soundly through the night—so soundly that she could almost believe she'd only dreamed of Blaze lying down beside her, letting her use him as a human pillow. That had to be a dream… right?
But when she pulled back the blanket, her fingers brushed against something small and hard.
She picked it up from the sheets—a single black button.
"My button?" she murmured. On closer look, she saw a line of tiny golden letters embossed across it—a men's designer brand.
"This isn't mine. Don't tell me…"
In the whole villa, there was only one person who could afford to wear that brand—Blaze.
But why would his button be on her bed?
Could it be that last night… hadn't been a dream after all? That Blaze really had been here?
