Chapter 3 - You're married

The receptionist led Hana into a wide corridor of polished marble and glass. Every step echoed her racing heartbeat.

This was it—Ibiza. Her dream.

When the doors to the CEO's office swung open, Hana froze.

Behind the desk sat a man with fiery amber eyes, sharper than she remembered. Older, colder.

Her throat went dry.

Jung Kai Seok.

The name on the contract. The boy who once made her laugh until her ribs hurt. The one who disappeared without a word.

Her fingers dug into her bag strap. She wanted to run—but her feet refused to move.

"Miss?" the receptionist prompted gently.

Hana swallowed. "I… I'm here for the photography position."

Kai's gaze flicked over her, unreadable. No recognition, no warmth—just cool dismissal.

"Leave your résumé." His tone was as sharp as glass.

Her chest squeezed. Did he really not remember?

Before she could gather the courage to speak, the office door slammed open.

"Big brother!" Eunha skipped in, waving the contract like a flag. "Meet your future wife."

Hana's stomach lurched.

Kai's head snapped up, his pen clattering to the desk.

"What did you just say?"

Eunha dropped the papers onto his desk with a triumphant smile. "You already signed. Congratulations, you're married."

The world tilted as Hana realized she had just become Mrs. Jung Kai Seok.
