Chapter 1 - Sign the Contract

"Sign this contract."

Hana blinked, staring at the girl across the table. She couldn't have been more than fourteen, yet her voice carried the authority of someone twice her age.

"What?" Hana asked, certain she misheard.

The girl pushed a sleek brown envelope toward her. "It's a marriage contract. You marry my brother—the CEO of Ibiza—for six months. In return, you get six hundred million yuan and a house."

Hana let out a startled laugh. "You're joking."

"Do I look like I'm joking?" the girl's amber-brown eyes glittered with impatience. She tapped the envelope once more. "One signature, and your life changes."

Ibiza.

The name alone made Hana's chest tighten. She'd spent months sending résumés, begging for a chance to work at the crown jewel of Beijing's fashion world—only to be rejected again and again. Her dream job, her dream life, just out of reach.

And now this little stranger was dangling it in front of her.

Her hand trembled as she pulled the papers halfway out of the envelope. She wanted to slam it shut and walk away—but her gaze caught on a name printed in bold at the top.

Jung Kai Seok.

Her breath stopped.

The boy she once loved. The one who vanished without a word, leaving her heart in pieces.

The pen slipped from her fingers.

The girl smirked. "What's the matter, sister-in-law?"
