Right next to a forest over a vast set of land, is a city that can only be described as luxurious. In the middle of that luxurious city was a humongous castle. Even though the city looked both beautiful and luxurious, the castle in the middle looked ancient and ominous. It didn't have a trace of color on it other than the grey the stone bricks used to create it had originated as.
Right above the castle a strand of lightning struck even though there wasn't a cloud visible in the sky. After the sudden lightning strike some murmurs spread through the city.
" Did anyone else see that lightning strike?" Character 1
"How didn't we when we are currently here with you?" Character 2
" I don't know man, I thought I was hallucinating." Character 1
" Jon, don't make me tell your wife you didn't take your medication? Character 2 asks while identifying character 1 as Jon.
" Don't you fucking dare Jerry, i'll make sure your wife new you only go to the bar to hit on that waitress." Character 2 now Identified as Jerry could only stare at his friend with his mouth agape.
Jon, after not liking Jerry's silence, turned towards Jerry's residence and started walking. It took Herry a solid minute to stare at the back of Jon until he realized something. If his wife found out they would both be dead. Jon's wife wouldn't even be upset with his wife, they are that close of friends. Jerry trying to catch up to Jon could only think "That lightning seemed ominous, kinda like something is going on inside the castle." Jerry finally caught up with Jon but not before Jon entered his house. Jerry could only think "Man, if I'm going to die, I just hope that lightning meant the bastard of a king died.
While Jon and Jerry faced both of their wife's wrath. Inside the castle there was a luxurious hall which housed two thrones. On the side was a throne that wasn't quite as luxurious as the one centered in the hall that was the most luxurious. But it seated an Amazingly beautiful woman who looked to be at the age of 18.
She was sitting on her throne staring at the crowd of people who were cheering with a straight face. Which seemed odd, because it must be a happy occasion, why else would people cheer? The crowd suddenly stopped and stared at the beauty on the side, realizing she was still alive and had yet to be killed.
When the crowd realized this they started walking her way. Some might wonder how the crowd was going to kill her, since none had a weapon on hand. Though when you realize their initial destination wasn't her but the luxurious throne which housed the body of a young man who seemed to be at the age of 18 before he died. How did he die? When looking at his corpse even from a distance, you can clearly see the sword that was sticking through his chest.
The crowd that seemed to be celebrating something was celebrating his very death.
The crowd finally arrived in front of the luxurious throne. Someone from the crowd stepped forward and ripped the sword out of the body. When that very person started to approach the beauty to kill her. He never realized the very body he ripped the sword from twitched. It was barely noticeable but the body's hand twitched. Just when the person with the sword had two steps remaining until he reached the next target.
Even though the beauty just stared down the face of death with no emotion visible. Inside her mind it was utter turmoil.
" I get why they killed him but why me? Actually I don't get why they killed him. Even if he wasn't suited to rule, never once did he try and suppress the people of the country like they thought he did. In fact before they even showed up he offered to step down."
" Even with all that, what do they gain from killing me?"
When that beauty's mind was clouded with all these thoughts the very sword that pierced the man she sat next to, swung back and aimed to kill her in one strike.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" a sudden shriek of pain erupted in the hall.
