That's right, it was tense.
Without the calming influence of the Shadow Spider-Man, he was still just the fifteen-year-old Peter. Even though he constantly recalled the feeling of merging with the Shadow Spider-Man, trying to pretend he was calm and mature, he was still, in reality, the naive version of himself.
He still occasionally showed his naivete.
Especially once he got into a fight.
Of course, he had definitely improved compared to his previous self.
After all, he had killed someone.
Back then, when he shot and killed Vulture to protect Aunt May, although the Shadow Spider-Man's consciousness was in control, Peter had experienced that feeling firsthand.
Later, his fights against Kraven the Hunter and the Green Goblin were also mostly led by him.
With these experiences, he was still a little nervous, but much better than before.
If it were the old him, he probably would have had his shield snatched away by the suddenly enlarged Ant-Man outside just now!
But now, maybe he could even hold his own against Falcon and Winter Soldier, temporarily.
Just then, Winter Soldier ran back.
While Peter was fighting Falcon, he grabbed Peter's shield, which Peter had used to smash him, and threw it through the window to Captain America, who was entangled with Black Panther below.
With the shield, Captain America could finally contend with Black Panther.
But unfortunately, that was all he could do, just contend.
Black Panther's Vibranium armor was quite something.
Wakanda's mastery of Vibranium was unparalleled.
They had studied its properties and developed Vibranium A and Vibranium B.
Vibranium A was the original, energy-absorbing form, while Vibranium B was a variant capable of disrupting the molecular bonds of many metals, including Vibranium A.
They'd managed to create a paradox with a single metal, crafting both the "most impenetrable shield" and the "sharpest spear."
Black Panther's Vibranium suit utilized Vibranium B in the claws.
After a few swipes, Captain America's Vibranium shield bore several claw marks.
The seemingly indestructible Vibranium shield now had scratches!
Captain America was astonished.
But now wasn't the time for surprise. He could only endure the pain of his wife—no, his shield—being scratched by another man and continue fighting Black Panther.
At the same time.
In the terminal.
Winter Soldier wanted to rescue Falcon, but Peter kicked both him and Falcon down.
Then came a series of web shots, and the two were firmly bound to the ground, unable to move.
"I'd love to keep playing with you guys, but I have other tasks, so..."
Duang!
Peter sidestepped slightly, quickly shooting a web from his hand and hitting a small drone directly onto the ceiling, webbing it up.
He looked up at the drone's design and said to Falcon, "Sir, is this your kid? Quite a handful, isn't it?"
"Got any more tricks, pal?" Winter Soldier asked.
Falcon shook his head, bewildered. "Are all the youngsters this good nowadays?"
Peter shrugged. "Bye."
He turned and leaped out the window, rejoining the fight in the plaza outside.
The battle here had also escalated.
Captain America was holding his own against Black Panther and War Machine's combined assault. Just as he was about to be overwhelmed, Ant-Man pulled a masterstroke.
He handed Captain America a miniature car, the size of a keychain, and then picked up a size-increasing dart, saying, "Throw this at it."
Captain America nodded, a bit bewildered, unsure of what Peter was planning.
Ant-Man didn't offer any explanation, just threw out the item.
Seeing this, Captain America instinctively tossed out the mini-car as well.
Thwack!
The mini-car, arriving a split second later, struck the enlarging dart.
An astonishing sight unfolded.
The mini-car instantly grew, becoming a vehicle of normal size, and slammed down onto War Machine!
War Machine, Black Panther, Black Widow, and Peter, who had just exited the terminal, were all stunned by the sight.
The next moment, they reacted.
Black Panther tackled Black Widow, who was nearby, to the ground, using his Vibranium suit to shield her from the explosion's impact.
Peter wanted to help, but the distance was too great. He could only accelerate towards them.
War Machine was a real man, so he faced the car head-on.
Then, BOOM, he was crushed under it.
The immense kinetic energy pushed him and his armor several meters forward before stopping.
War Machine crawled out from under the burning car, covered in soot: "I'm angry!"
Iron Man arrived just then, landing on the ground and pulling Black Widow and Black Panther up.
Black Widow asked, "Was this part of the plan?"
Iron Man shook his head, "No, this has gone beyond what I expected. I was hoping to be a little more polite with them."
"Are we really going to fight them?" Peter asked curiously, landing nearby.
Iron Man's tone was a bit gloomy; clearly, he wasn't in the best mood.
Hearing Peter's words, he turned and looked at him: "Or do you think we're just playing house?"
"They're heading towards the plane," War Machine said.
"No worries, someone's already waiting," Iron Man said, remaining as steady as a mountain, without a hint of panic. "Now, let's go too."
And so, Iron Man took Black Widow with him, while Black Panther and Peter hung on War Machine's left and right.
The five of them quickly crossed the plaza and arrived on the other side.
Peter then saw the "sixth person" Iron Man had mentioned.
His skin was entirely red, he wore plain gray-green clothes, and he had a cape draped behind him.
The most crucial thing was, he was flying in the air!
"He can actually fly?" Peter couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.
"His name is Vision, and he's a very powerful character," War Machine said.
"How powerful?"
"Really, really powerful. And he's red-skinned, you know. Maybe he likes to eat kids like you."
Peter: ...Do you really think I'm a three-year-old? I really want to defect, what do I do?
As they spoke, the two teams gathered together again.
This time, everyone was present!
Iron Man's side consisted of: Iron Man, Vision, War Machine, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Peter.
Captain America's side consisted of: Captain America, Wanda, Falcon, Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, and Ant-Man.
It has to be said, the lineups on both sides are quite interesting.
You've got the good buddy duo of Iron Man and Captain America, the married couple Vision and Wanda. There's even the motormouth combo of Peter and Ant-Man.
Looking at it this way, it's like they've stacked all sorts of buffs!
You've got to give credit to the leaders on both sides, they know how to play the game.
They actually managed to put this together.
Hmm, and they're very in sync.
However, the atmosphere on the field wasn't as harmonious as one might expect.
As everyone from both sides arrived, their expressions turned serious.
After Iron Man and Captain America assessed each other's combat abilities, they realized neither could "persuade" the other anytime soon!
The fight was about to erupt again!
And this time, it would be even more intense!
