Chapter 17 - Ant-Man: I Have a Daughter

"Mr. Stark, watch out, it's Ant-Man!" Peter immediately reacted, warning him.

Iron Man had also received the report from the AI, Friday, and immediately activated the fire suppression system within his armor.

"Oh, I've been discovered?" Ant-Man's voice came from within the armor.

"You're the guy who can shrink?" Iron Man asked.

Ant-Man replied, "No, no, I'm your conscience."

Iron Man let out a cold chuckle, "I hope my conscience can withstand the coolant."

"Whoa! Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go!" As he spoke, the coolant surged towards Ant-Man through the pipes.

Ant-Man turned and ran, but he couldn't outrun the coolant.

Iron Man designed this cooling system to prevent overheating in certain areas or fires caused by external trauma.

So, the cooling system had to be fast.

Ant-Man was blasted out by the coolant, landing with a splat on the ground.

At the same time, Captain America's side, taking advantage of Wanda's burst of power, quickly created distance from Iron Man's side.

After some discussion, they decided that Captain America and Winter Soldier would go to Siberia as planned, while the others would stay behind to continue stopping Iron Man and his team.

But before that, they needed a big guy to attract everyone's attention, making it easier for Captain America and Winter Soldier to slip away.

So, Ant-Man volunteered to be this big guy.

"What the heck is that thing?" Peter stared in shock at the center of the plaza.

What appeared before him was a giant version of Ant-Man, over thirty meters tall, almost as big as Ultraman.

"The little thing's gotten big again. This guy's so weird, how does he go from big to small?" War Machine, whose foot was being held, weakly complained.

"Nice work, Tick-Tock!" Falcon praised.

Ant-Man said nothing, flinging Rhodey away, right over Peter's head.

Peter quickly shot out a web, trying to grab War Machine, but the immense force on the line pulled him forward as well.

Finally, with the help of a bus, he managed to stop War Machine's momentum and pull him back.

"Good job, Spider-Man," War Machine thanked him and charged back at Ant-Man.

At this moment, Ant-Man kicked a bus toward them.

Peter turned and caught the bus, taking several steps back before stopping.

"Here!" He put all his strength into it, flinging the bus back.

Iron Man and War Machine moved to surround Ant-Man, but they were at a loss facing the giant Ant-Man, who could tear off a plane's wing and use it as a knife.

"Anyone on our side want to show off their special skills?" Iron Man shouted while firing a series of bullets.

Peter was puzzled. "This guy doesn't fit the laws of physics. His body gets bigger, but his body's hardness shouldn't change, right? Why can he tank the cannon fire?"

"Does being able to get bigger fit the laws of physics? His mass has also increased!" Iron Man retorted.

"Alright, I have a plan. Let me try it."

Peter still didn't quite understand, but it didn't matter. He could just fight first and ask questions later.

He quickly approached Ant-Man, shooting several webs and sticking them to Ant-Man's feet and joints.

The incredibly resilient web immediately restricted Ant-Man's movements.

After enlarging, he was already a bit slow, and now he became a large, shuffling old man.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Peter shot web from his hands again, circling Ant-Man's feet.

"Mr. Stark, and uh..." Peter didn't know War Machine's name, and in fact, he didn't even know the name "War Machine."

"Rhodey, my name is Rhodey. What do you want us to do?" War Machine replied.

"Okay, Mr. Stark, Mr. Rhodey, you guys seize the chance, use speed to hit his chin, and knock him out!" Peter laid out his plan.

"Alright!" Iron Man and War Machine chose to trust Peter.

Ant-Man seemed to have noticed their plan, but at this point, he was helpless.

In fact, he had only used the ability to enlarge twice, and the last time he hadn't become this big.

So, he's basically just a target dummy, not that strong in a real fight.

Duang!

Using the propulsion from their suits, two Iron Man armors channeled all their kinetic energy into their fists, slamming them hard into Ant-Man's jaw.

Ant-Man flipped backward and landed on the ground, quickly returning to his normal size.

"Nice work," Iron Man said, looking at Peter, clearly pleased with his performance.

Peter gave a victory sign, "You're welcome!"

Boom!

As they spoke, a Quinjet took off from the nearby landing pad.

"Damn it!" Iron Man and War Machine cursed under their breaths, both flying up towards the Quinjet.

The Falcon took off into the air, following suit.

Peter was momentarily dumbfounded.

The battlefield had shifted from the ground to the sky, and he didn't know what to do.

Which Spider-Man could fly? Can I copy them? I need help, and fast!

"Hey, kid, can you give me a hand?" Ant-Man wailed, asking Peter for help.

Peter walked over and stopped about three meters away from him: "If I help you, will I be considered a war criminal too?"

Ant-Man: …

"No, you won't!" Ant-Man tried to convince Peter, expanding himself again, causing his body to endure a massive burden. He was in a lot of pain all over and didn't have much strength.

"But it's too risky, I don't want to take the risk," Peter said.

"I have a daughter, her name is Cassie. She's really cute. How about I introduce you to her?" Ant-Man chose to use the beauty card.

Mainly because he thought this young man was pretty good. Judging by his voice, he wasn't very old, but he was courageous, knowledgeable, and had extraordinary abilities. He was an outstanding young man.

Although Cassie was still young, he didn't mind finding a good young man for his daughter to get to know.

The most important thing was, they were "relatives"! Peter: ...

"Your daughter would be very sad if she heard this," Peter walked over and helped Ant-Man up.

Of course, it wasn't for the cute daughter he mentioned, but simply because he didn't mind helping Ant-Man up in the first place.

After all, anyone could see that they hadn't fought too fiercely from beginning to end.

Ant-Man introduced himself, "I'm Scott Lang. You can call me Scott. What's your name?"

"Uh, I'm Peter Parker. You can call me Peter," Peter said.

"Heh heh, good, Peter, you're a great kid, really solid muscles," Ant-Man said, one hand on Peter's shoulder, feeling his chest, and chuckling.

Peter shuddered. "Please don't make such perverted actions and expressions."
