With Captain America's order, the six on Captain America's side began to advance.
This represented their unwavering determination.
In response, Peter and the others, led by Iron Man, also slowly moved forward.
They gradually went from walking to running, and finally to sprinting!
Finally, the two teams collided.
Peter was targeted by Ant-Man from the start.
"Hey, you're Spider-Man, right? I'm Ant-Man. Don't you think we have some kind of kinship?" Ant-Man said, throwing a kick at Peter.
Peter blocked the kick and then slammed Ant-Man to the ground: "Although we're both arthropods, we're very different. So I don't think we have any kinship, Mr. Ant-Man."
"I'm truly hurt you'd say that," Ant-Man said, shrinking down just as he was about to hit the ground.
Peter's eyes couldn't easily spot him, but he could vaguely sense Ant-Man's presence thanks to his Spider-Sense.
"You little brat!" Ant-Man yelled, launching a sneak attack from behind, trying to catch Peter off guard.
But Peter suddenly spun around and shot out a glob of webbing.
"What?" Ant-Man exclaimed, bewildered. He couldn't figure out how Peter had found him all those times.
Did his suit have something like a thermal imaging device, like Iron Man and Falcon's?
Splatter!
Ant-Man was webbed to the ground.
He quickly enlarged himself, finally breaking free from the web's restraints.
However, taking advantage of this opportunity, Peter had already moved away.
Because the Winter Soldier on the other side had engaged Black Widow. Although Black Widow had the enhanced genetic serum, she didn't have anything to defend against the Winter Soldier's metal arm. She could only dodge left and right under the Winter Soldier's attacks, using her agility to evade them.
"Hey, we meet again!" Peter used his web to stick to the Winter Soldier's metal arm while he was throwing a punch, swinging past him.
"It's you again, kid!" The Winter Soldier swung his arm hard, trying to pull Peter down with the web.
At this moment, Black Widow seized the opportunity, sticking close to the Winter Soldier and using a chokehold incorporating Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, slamming the Winter Soldier to the ground.
"That move is so cool, can you teach me?" Peter landed to the side, constantly firing web shots, sticking the Winter Soldier to the ground.
"Sure, after the mission is over, I can teach you some combat skills if we have the chance," Black Widow readily agreed.
Whoosh—
Two arrows shot from not far away, precisely cutting through the webs.
Seeing this, Winter Soldier immediately flipped and jumped up.
It turned out Hawkeye had noticed the situation here and rushed over to support!
Hawkeye looked at Peter with a slightly hostile gaze: "Kid, you're just a little punk."
"Uh," Peter's expression froze, "I'm already a man!"
"You sound like a little girl when you talk!" Hawkeye shot another arrow, and together with Winter Soldier, they attacked Peter.
Boom!
At this moment, Black Panther's swift figure appeared, directly tackling Winter Soldier and slamming him away.
The two of them engaged in close combat on the ground.
Peter grabbed Hawkeye's arrow. He was about to speak when, suddenly, his Spider-Sense went haywire.
Danger!
He immediately tossed the arrow away.
But it was already too late.
BOOM!
The arrowhead exploded.
Peter felt a buzzing in his head.
Fortunately, Hawkeye had some sense. The explosive arrow didn't contain too much explosive material, so the damage wasn't significant – otherwise, he wouldn't have aimed at a person.
Black Widow glanced at Peter, then at Hawkeye, and said with a slight edge in her voice, "Clint, did you want to kill him?"
Hawkeye looked embarrassed. He'd just wanted to use the explosive arrow's blast to hit Peter from a distance and give him a little lesson.
Who knew Peter could catch the arrow he shot with his bare hands at such close range and then wave it in his face to show off.
Hawkeye didn't know how to explain this misunderstanding.
Black Widow glanced at Peter, and seeing that he was alright, charged towards Hawkeye.
Peter patted his head, the buzzing in his brain lessening considerably.
He felt he had suffered from a lack of combat experience.
This incident also taught him some lessons.
Although he had Spider-Sense, and after merging with Spider-Man Noir, his Spider-Sense had been enhanced, no longer the unreliable state it was before.
But Spider-Sense also had its limitations.
Currently, it could only sense dangers directed at him, but not dangers that hadn't yet materialized.
For example, Hawkeye's explosive arrows, when not activated, are just arrows.
Only when activated do they become explosives.
This time, because everyone was on the same side, Hawkeye didn't go all out.
Next time, if they encounter enemies like this, it'll be dangerous!
After recovering, Peter found himself temporarily free.
He took the opportunity to observe the situation on the battlefield.
At this moment, in the sky above the battlefield, Vision and Wanda were exchanging blows. Their magic was dazzling, producing a series of explosions, but anyone could see that they weren't using their full strength.
Then there were Falcon and War Machine, constantly circling and fighting.
On the ground, Iron Man had abandoned his ranged advantage and was engaged in hand-to-hand combat with Captain America, perhaps still trying to reason with him.
Nearby, Black Panther and Winter Soldier were also locked in a fierce battle.
Unlike Peter, who favored agile movements as his primary combat style, both Black Panther and Winter Soldier were masters of close-quarters combat. They were evenly matched, trading blows with brutal efficiency.
Black Widow and Hawkeye were also exchanging attacks.
Overall, it seemed Iron Man's side had the upper hand.
"Huh, where's Ant-Man?"
Peter looked around, but couldn't find "his relative."
His Spider-Sense told him that the shrinking hero was definitely hiding somewhere, plotting something, just like he'd tried to steal his shield at the beginning!
Just as Peter was searching for Ant-Man, the situation on the battlefield abruptly changed.
It was Wanda!
She had also realized that their side was at a disadvantage.
Suddenly, she increased her magical output, blasting Vision away. Then, she sent Iron Man, who was fighting Captain America, flying with a single blow. Next, she used a magical whip to bind Black Widow's hands and flung her away.
Afterward, she turned her attention to Black Panther, enveloping him completely with a large mass of magic, slamming him into a shipping container dozens of meters away.
Wanda's sudden outburst stunned everyone on the scene.
While everyone else was "playing," someone suddenly got serious, making her seem very different.
Wanda floated in the air, looking down at everyone, surrounded by a crimson aura of magic. She said coldly, "There's no need to get entangled with them. We have our own business."
"That's right, we should go and take care of the important matters," Captain America nodded.
"I'm afraid that won't be possible!" Iron Man quickly flew back, but when he tried to fire his Repulsors, he found that they were disabled.
