Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Game Begins

📘 Survive the Game

Chapter 1 — The Game Begins

---

The morning began like any other day —

until the sky itself shattered.

A blinding white light consumed everything.

Skyscrapers, cars, forests, oceans — every corner of Earth vanished under that brilliance.

There were no screams, no explosions. Just silence.

And then, the voice came.

---

[SYSTEM ANNOUNCEMENT]

> [Welcome to Survive: The Game.]

[All eligible participants between the ages of 15 and 30 have been transported.]

[Your old world is now locked.]

[Your new objective: Survive.]

The light faded.

The sound of howling wind replaced it.

---

The New World

When the brightness cleared, billions of people stood scattered across an unfamiliar land —

a vast, icy continent under twin moons.

The air was sharp and cold, the ground covered with frost.

Dark mountains surrounded the horizon, and from far away came an echo — a deep, guttural roar that did not sound human.

Snow crunched beneath thousands of feet as the crowd looked around in confusion.

It was a new world — alien, silent, and terrifyingly alive.

Then, another message echoed across the sky.

> [System Online.]

[Planet Name: Survi6.]

[Atmosphere: Breathable.]

[Temperature: -3°C (Dynamic Weather Enabled).]

[Survival Index: 22%.]

[Warning: Monster Activity Detected.]

---

Panic began instantly.

Some cried. Some shouted names, hoping to find family or friends.

But none came.

Among the chaos stood a young man — black hair, gray eyes, his face calm and unreadable.

His name was Lavesh.

He wasn't panicking. He was watching.

The world around him was changing —

and something inside him whispered that this was not random.

---

The First Choice

Another glowing window appeared before every player.

> [Before the Game Begins, Choose Your Class.]

[Each class grants unique abilities and growth paths.]

[Once selected, your choice is permanent.]

[Available Starter Classes:]

Warrior

Archer

Mage

Healer

Tank

Assassin

Necromancer

[Note: Rare classes grant higher potential but greater difficulty.]

All around, people shouted their choices.

> "I'm taking Warrior!"

"Healer sounds safe!"

"Mage! I want magic!"

But Lavesh stayed quiet, scanning the list.

The last one caught his eye.

> Necromancer.

Dark summoner class. Controls the power of death and shadows.

Warning: Extremely difficult early progression. Weak base stats.

He smiled faintly.

> "Difficult? Perfect."

He pressed Confirm.

---

[SYSTEM CONFIRMATION]

> [Class Selected: Necromancer]

[Class Type: Rare / Summoner]

[Initial Weapon Type: Variable]

[Base Skill: Shadow Extraction (Locked until Level 1)]

[Special Stat Unlocked: Luck]

[Your body will adjust to this class type.]

Pain flashed through his chest.

His vision blurred as a black sigil formed across his right hand — twisting, burning, then fading into the skin.

Cold energy flowed through his veins like liquid frost.

> "So this is power…" he whispered.

---

The Separation

Then the sky split again — not with light this time, but sound.

> [Class Selection Complete.]

[You will now be distributed to your assigned Starting Village.]

[Each village contains 50 players.]

[You are expected to cooperate, build, and survive.]

[Note: Friendly Fire is disabled for 7 days.]

[You will be granted food and water for 3 days.]

Before anyone could react, the ground beneath them shattered into glowing runes.

Wind howled. The world twisted — and Lavesh vanished.

---

The First Spawn

He opened his eyes to a different scene.

No longer a snowy plain — now a small settlement.

Wooden houses stood in neat lines, thin trails of smoke rising from chimneys.

Each road between them was precisely 9 feet wide,

and the entire village was structured like a perfect grid —

orderly, artificial, and eerily designed.

In the distance was a vast black forest stretching endlessly toward the horizon.

The sound of faint growling came from within.

> "So this is our world now…" Lavesh muttered.

Another prompt appeared.

---

[VILLAGE SYSTEM ONLINE]

> [You have been assigned to Village #317.]

[Population: 50 Players.]

[You have 3 Days of Food and Water Provided.]

[To earn more resources, you must hunt monsters or craft items.]

[Your starting shelter is unclaimed. Touch any building to register it as yours.]

Players immediately began rushing toward the houses.

Arguments broke out, shoving, screaming.

Lavesh didn't move.

He looked at the edge of the forest — quiet, dangerous, perfect.

He walked past everyone and placed his hand on the last hut near the trees.

> [Shelter Registered: Player – Lavesh.]

[Shelter Size: 49 m².]

[Contains: Crafting Table, Mini Kitchen, Bed, Chair, Chimney (Heat Source).]

Inside, it was simple but warm.

A small flame flickered inside the chimney.

On the table lay a note:

> [Tip: Heat prevents frostbite. Maintain your temperature above 10°C.]

[Temperature will drop sharply at night.]

---

Status Window

He opened his Status Window for the first time.

He added his three points into Agility.

Running would be survival.

---

The World Breathes

Outside, night began to fall.

The twin moons hung above the frozen treetops, casting a silver glow across the ground.

The wind carried faint howls — something hunting beyond the forest.

Players gathered around the central square, forming groups, discussing plans.

> "Let's form a team tomorrow!"

"I heard monsters drop chests with supplies!"

"If we can't hunt, we'll starve in three days!"

But Lavesh stayed by his door, listening quietly.

He wasn't interested in their plans.

He wanted to understand the rules of this world.

He looked up at the night sky.

Thousands of stars shimmered above,

but beneath them — far on the horizon — was something darker.

Something moving.

---

[SYSTEM WARNING]

> [Monster Activity Detected: Forest Region — High Risk.]

[Players are advised to remain within village boundaries until sunrise.]

[Note: After 3 Days, protection will expire.]

The villagers panicked again.

Some ran inside their shelters, some stayed awake by the fire.

Lavesh simply smiled.

His eyes glowed faintly with reflected moonlight.

> "Three days of safety," he murmured.

"After that… the real game begins."
