Chapter 1 - SUMMONED AS A IRREGULAR GUY

The school at sunset always felt like a ghost town.

The hallways were quiet.

The lights flickered with that cheap public-school sadness.

And the classroom—our classroom—glowed orange under the fading sky.

I sat slumped over my desk, tapping a pen against my notebook with the energy of a dying mosquito. Homework? Not happening. Motivation? Negative.

Beside me, Aizawa Mio gently closed her own textbook, tilting her head with that perfect anime-girl smile.

Anyone else looking at her would see a pure, sweet, soft-spoken honor student.

Me?

I knew better.

Under that smile lived a dragon disguised as a kitten.

"Haruto-kun," she said, voice soft enough to melt steel. "Are you even trying?"

"I'm trying," I said.

"You've stared at the same sentence for fifteen minutes."

"That's effort."

She sighed. "I love you, but sometimes I wonder how you even–"

The door slammed open.

Both of us flinched.

Great. Just when I was enjoying our quiet moment, the universe sent me trash bastards.

Four silhouettes stood at the doorway.

The Four f* cking Annoyances.

They strutted in like they owned the place, laughing and talking loudly, ignoring the fact that there were only three humans in the building with functional brain cells at this hour.

"Yo, Mio-chan!" one of them waved with unhealthy enthusiasm. "Didn't expect you to still be here!"

Right. Him. The fucking idiot who kept trying to flirt with my girlfriend right in front of me.

The boldness of stupidity truly had no limits.

Mio immediately straightened, putting on her sweet-schoolgirl mask.

And the guy walked toward her, ignoring my existence like usual.

"Hey, Mio-chan," he said, leaning in closer than any oxygen-breathing organism had a right to. "Need someone to walk you home?"

"No," Mio answered politely. "I'm with Haruto."

He clicked his tongue , muttered And glared at me.

"Still hanging around that deadweight, huh?" he muttered just loud enough for me to hear.

Keep talking, genius. I dare you. I hope a truck drives on you on your way home.

I smiled back with the warmth of a Siberian winter.

"Nice to see you too." ( fucking bastard)

The other three gave me the same look they always did—

A mix of superiority and annoyance, like I was gum stuck to their shoe.

"Let's go already," one of them complained. "Why are we even here? It's creepy this late."

"I told you," the annoying flirt said, glaring at me again, "I wanted to check if Mio-chan was still here."

"Uh-huh," I muttered. "Totally not stalking behavior."

"What did you say?!"

Before he could step closer, Mio gently but firmly moved between us.

"Please stop," she said with polite firmness. "You're making Haruto uncomfortable."

Actually I wasn't uncomfortable. I was more than ready for violence and shut his asshole!

But then–

The air trembled.

A low vibration ran through the floor.

The windows shook.

A sound—like wind, but wrong—echoed through the classroom.

"…Haruto?" Mio whispered, gripping my sleeve.

"Yeah?"

"Did you do something?"

"Yes. Clearly this is my fault," I deadpanned.

The floor lit up.

A glowing magic circle burst to life beneath us—huge, intricate, humming with power.

"What the hell is–?!"

The flirt stumbled back, tripping over a desk.

The others panicked, shouting.

Mio clutched me tightly.

The circle grew brighter—white, gold, then blinding blue.

Symbols spiraled. Light flared. The air collapsed inward like a vortex.

And then–

Everything disappeared.

The classroom

The desks

The windows

The sunset sky

All swallowed by swirling white.

My body dissolved in light, weightless, directionless.

I felt Mio's hand slipping.

"Haruto–!! Don't let go!!"

"As if I'd—!"

Before I could finish—

The world shattered.

I hit the ground.

Hard.

Cold marble slapped my face like life itself was fed up with me.

I groaned and pushed myself up.

Where…?

Massive pillars soared toward a ceiling decorated with golden murals.

Chandeliers floated above.

Red carpets stretched toward a high throne.

Knights in gleaming armor surrounded us—spears pointed.

A palace.

A throne room straight out of a fantasy anime.

Of course.

Of course this was happening.

I looked around.

Mio was beside me, kneeling, eyes wide.

The four idiots stood in various positions—some in awe, some in shock, one still trying to "protect" Mio even though she was clearly clinging to me.

And at the far end of the hall—

A king.

Broad, bearded, wearing a crown too heavy for his ego.

Beside him stood a beautiful woman floating slightly above the ground, glowing with an unnatural holy light.

A goddess.

She smiled gently at us.

Like a friendly schoolteacher.

Or a predator pretending not to drool.

"Welcome, chosen ones," she said, her voice chiming like bells. "Brave souls from another world. We thank you for answering our call."

"I DIDN'T ANSWER ANYTHING!!" I wanted to scream.

The flirt raised his hand. "Uh—Mio-chan? Are you okay? Do you need me?"

"No," she said flatly.

He lowered his hand.

That made my day slightly better.

The goddess continued:

"You have been summoned to save this kingdom from the Demon King. For generations, our ritual has summoned five heroes—each one a beacon of hope for this world."

The knights nodded proudly.

The king crossed his arms.

My classmates exchanged shocked, but excited, looks.

Five.

Exactly five.

So why were there—

I counted.

One. Two. Three. Four. Five.

…Six.

Including me.

A flicker of confusion crossed the goddess's face.

The king frowned. "Goddess… is this… normal?"

"No," she whispered, eyes narrowing. "This has never happened."

The flirt glanced at me immediately.

"Wait—don't tell me the extra is… him?"

His voice dripped with disgust.

The others looked at me too.

Mio immediately stepped in front of me.

"Don't look at Haruto like that."

"But Mio-chan, come on," the flirt complained. "He's clearly the mistake!"

"Wow," I muttered. "Nice of you to confirm your IQ is a single digit."

He lunged at me.

Knights pointed their spears instantly.

Mio clutched my arm tighter, glaring.

The goddess floated closer, observing me with unsettling curiosity.

"You," she said softly, "should not be here."

Well excuse me, holy lady, I didn't schedule a portal vacation.

Her eyes softened suddenly with fake warmth.

"But do not worry," she said sweetly. "The summoning ritual must have malfunctioned. I will personally ensure that you return to your world safely."

The king nodded. "Yes. We only require five heroes. The boy shall be sent home."

My classmates exhaled in relief.

Some even smiled.

Mio looked at me, worried.

"Haruto… do you want to go back?"

"Yes," I said instantly.

She looked hurt for a moment.

Then her grip tightened.

"But… can you really trust—"

The goddess placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Come, child. I will send you home immediately."

Her touch was gentle.

Too gentle.

Her expression too kind.

An angelic lie.

I knew it instantly , because I know the fake bitch behaviours!

Because her eyes—

—didn't match her smile.

Light surrounded me.

Warm.

Soft.

Reassuring.

The goddess spoke in a sweet whisper:

"Thank you for coming to our world."

Her tone darkened.

"But we only need real heroes."

Wait.

"Huh—?"

Fuck you bitch ass''

The light turned cold.

The air became heavy.

Her smile sharpened.

"And we cannot allow… mistakes."

A sigil appeared beneath my feet—different from the summoning circle before.

Dark.

Violent.

Wrong.

Mio's voice echoed faintly from behind the light.

"Haruto-kun—!!! HARUTO—!!"

Then everything dropped.

Literally.

The floor vanished.

The world inverted.

And I plummeted into a black abyss.

The goddess's last whisper followed me like a curse:

"Farewell, irregular one."

Pain exploded through my body.

I gasped, choking on dust and cold air.

Wtf is wrong with this shits!!

The light was gone.

The goddess was gone.

Everything was gone.

I lay on a rough stone floor in near-total darkness.

A dripping sound echoed somewhere above.

The air was damp. Heavy. Rotten.

I forced myself to sit up, clutching my ribs.

F*ck that bitch!

"…Where… am I…?"

A whispering voice answered from the darkness.

((ANCIENT DUNGEON — FLOOR 50))

"F-Floor WHAT—?!"

Fifty?

Who sends a high-school student to Floor 50 of anything?!

Something moved in the dark.

A scraping sound.

A hungry breath.

And then—

GLOWING RED EYES appeared.

Multiple sets.

Dozens.

Something crawled out of the shadows—long, limb-like appendages, twisted bodies, far too many teeth.

Monsters.

High-level ones.

"Ah. Great," I said weakly. "So this is how I die."

No, why I have to die like this. i must survive and take revenge in the name of irregular one.

One lunged.

I rolled instinctively.

Claws scraped the ground where my head had been.

Another screeched.

Fuck,fuck, fuck!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck you bitch goddess!!!!!!!

I swear to fuck the bitch and this fucking fantasy world.

I stumbled backward, heart pounding, searching desperately for anything—a weapon, a rock, even a stick.

Nothing.

Then—

A faint light flickered.

In front of me.

A translucent screen.

Like a system window.

Glitching. Shaking. Filled with scrambled symbols.

"What… the hell…?"

It flickered again.

A line of text forced itself into shape.

((SYSTEM ERROR))

((UNAUTHORIZED SUMMON DETECTED))

Ahh carp..

Fuck this system!

((FORCED ACTIVATION ))

The monsters lunged again.

I raised my arms uselessly.

The screen flashed.

((WELCOME BACK))

Back?

What do you mean back?!

The screen glitched violently.

Symbols rearranged.

Lights surged.

And then—

The entire dungeon shook.

A shockwave rippled outward, slamming the monsters back.

"What—?!"

A second window appeared.

Clear this time.

Readable.

Cold.

Powerful.

((HIDDEN SYSTEM AWAKENED))

(( CURRENT USER: KUROZAWA HARUTO))

((STATUS: IRREGULAR — OUTSIDE DIVINE CONTROL OVER EVIL))

((BEGINNING EMERGENCY SURVIVAL PROTOCOL))

Energy rushed through my body.

My heartbeat quickened.

My vision sharpened.

My muscles tensed.

The monsters screeched and charged again.

Another window popped up—

((TUTORIAL: KILL OR DIE))

((GOOD LUCK))

"…The hell kind of tutorial is that?!"

But it's fucking cool !!

The closest monster leaped—

And I moved.

Instinctively.

Faster than before.

I grabbed a broken stone shard from the floor and drove it into the monster's eye.

It shrieked.

Another lunged.

I rolled, slashed, stabbed.

My arms burned.

My lungs screamed.

But I survived.

Barely.

A final blow cracked the last monster's skull.

Silence.

Then—

((EXP GAINED))

((LEVEL UP))

A warm light enveloped me.

My wounds closed slightly.

My breath steadied.

I stared at my trembling hands.

"…What… is this system?"

Why did it say "welcome back"?

Why am I the irregular one?

Why did the goddess betrayed me?

More footsteps echoed in the dark.

More monsters.

Hundreds.

I stood up, gripping the stone shard.

"…Fine." I do it by myself

I exhaled.

A grin formed.

"If the goddess wants me dead—"then I fuck her wants!

I raised the makeshift weapon.

"—she's going to be disappointed."

Behind me, the system glitched again.

One final message appeared.

((THE WORLD REMEMBERS YOU))

My blood froze and giving chilling vibe.

"…What the hell does THAT mean?"

Before I could even process it—

A massive roar echoed deeper inside the dungeon.

Something huge was coming.

Bigger than the others.

Stronger.

And it was heading straight toward me.
