Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Stop making sense

Alex slowly stirred from his slumber, his eyelids fluttering open to the brilliance of the midday sun. The golden rays pierced his vision, prompting him to raise a hand to shield his eyes. As he sat upon the coarse sand, he surveyed the vast expansion of the desert stretching endlessly around him, a barren wilderness with no sign of life. Rising to his feet, he brushed the dust from his clothes. "This doesn't look like a beach resort. Where the hell am I?" Alex said to himself. Suddenly, the ground beneath Alex's feet began to tremble, and as he looked around, he spots a colossal figure drawing near. As the colossal figure rushes closer, her face gradually comes into view, revealing a giant Wizard Liz lizard. The absurdity of the situation wasn't lost on him, but there was no time for laughter. The lizard was charging, intent on making him its next meal. Without a second thought, Alex turned and sprinted in the opposite direction, his mind racing as fast as his legs. Between the pounding of his heart and the urgency of the moment, he couldn't help but mutter to himself, "Where's Andrew Tattu when you need him?". As Alex ran, his heart pounded in his chest, and he could feel the lizard's presence drawing near every hurried step. A flicker of panic crossed his mind and he thought, "This might be the end" . But then, out of nowhere, two unexpected figures appeared on either side of the path, riding a gigantic seahorse that floated effortlessly through the air. They looked like something out of a dream. To top it all off, they were wearing nothing but a SpongeBob underwear. One of them turned to Alex and called out, "Hey pal, aren't people supposed to jog in the morning surrounded by nature?'

'I'm as surprised as you are, mate.' Alex replied while breathing heavily. "You wanna continue your jogging or do you need a lift?" said the man to Alex. With a weary smile, Alex shouted back, "I'll take that lift, but only if you promise not to drop me!" The man laughed and nodded and together they sped off, turning what could have been a dire end into a bizarre adventure.

As the lizard continued its pursuit, the man chuckled and added, "Maybe she wants to invite you to a feminist podcast." They both chuckled. Then the man added, "By the way, I'm Jojo and that's my brother Gurt."

"Yo",Gurt said to Alex. "So, what's your name, my friend?" Jojo asked to Alex. Alex replied, "I'm Alex, Alexander Digrade"

After the introduction both Jojo and Gurt laughed and sprinted their horse, leaving the lizard behind. As Alex blinked and opened his eyes, he found himself sitting on a commode in the heart of the vast desert, isolated in the middle of nowhere. The sky was full of stars, their bright light having everything around them clear and visible, Alex can see every details around him with perfect clarity. As Alex suddenly found himself on the commode, he was confused and clueless wondering "what just happened right now?" He was on a seahorse with Jojo and Gurt and with the blink of an eye, he found himself here. "What language do deaf people think in?" A voice suddenly interrupted Alex's thoughts. "Huh?" Alex said to himself as he turns around to see who said that. As he turned around, he saw a man sitting on a commode in a "Thinker" pose like a philosopher lost in thoughts. The man continued his speech. "Since they can't hear, so do they imagine things? Or do they think in sign language?" Alex looked at him out of confusion and curiosity. The man sat quietly, fully aware of everything around him and the thoughts swirling in his mind. He understood what needed to change and the actions required for it, yet he remained still, trapped in the contemplation. Instead of taking steps forward, he crafted endless scenarios in his mind, never quite moving from thought to action. The comfort of contemplation kept him rooted, and so he remained a prisoner of his own inaction. He has thought about every possibilities in his head. He's the richest man in his head. He has a loving family in his head. He got everything he ever wanted in his head. Lost in his own made up scenarios and thoughts but he refuses to take any action outside of his thoughts. He's there to be like this for eternity. Conscious enough to know what's happening and what needed to change, yet not active enough to change anything
