Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Transmigration

I opened my eyes and for a moment I couldn't help but sigh. It has been nearly 5 years since I first awakened in this world, with my predecessors' great immortal fate. I was able to have the opportunity to cultivate Immortality, and I was already nearing the Peak of the First Layer of the Qi Refinement realm.

Sadly, ever since I arrived in this world because my predecessor was killed by other loose cultivators...

I quickly left the spiritual marketplace and sadly had to wander the sparsely spiritual mortal realm. Of course, thanks to some good luck my predecessor already had a few memories of the mortal world. And thus I was able to find a suitable land that had more spirituality.

Sitting alone on this mountain I couldn't help but envy those cultivators who obtained the chance to cultivate in sects. Unlike us loose cultivators who had to be wary of others and couldn't afford to trust anyone.

"Soon...soon I should be able to openly use another identity" During this time I had been making sure to grow out a beard and I was thankful that those who ambushed me were weak cultivators at the Second Layer. Which might be dumb to say since said loose cultivators did kill my predecessor.

But my own [Five Element Spiritual root] seemed to have increased. Before it was a balanced 10/100 throughout the entire Five elements. Then the current one was already 20/100 making me have a Low grade [Five-Element spiritual root]. Naturally, the speed at which I cultivate increases, the purity of my spiritual qi increases, and the time spent cultivating increases slightly.

After all, it took my predecessor nearly 10 years to barely achieve the First Layer of Qi Refinement within the mortal world. I was already 30 years old and merely close to the Second Layer of the Qi Refinement realm. If cultivation didn't naturally increase lifespan then I would have despaired at my slow speed.

At my current realm because the Heaven and Earth Spiritual qi have naturally nourished the body throughout all this time. My life span surpassed the mortals who even when reaching the Peak of the Innate realm merely had 100 to 110 years of life. Sure, when compared to the 50 or 60 years that mortals could have it was considered quite long-lived.

But, even low rank loose cultivators such as myself had at the very least a life span of 110 and it would only continue to increase until it reached the peak at 200 years at the Qi Refinement Perfection realm.

Another great reason as to why I continuously focused on improving my cultivation while going down the mountain every once in a while to sate my lust for the women in the village or town. Sure, keeping a concubine or two wouldn't be difficult with my strength.

But I still wanted to continue walking down the Path of Immortality. Thus, I only claimed them as companions and didn't even allow them to live on the same mountain as where I lived.

Of course, with the strength I displayed a couple of years ago most knew that I was a powerful but wandering Innate martial artist. Thus, I didn't need to worry about my companions getting hurt or being preyed upon.

I was cautious but not to the point where I had to hide away from enemies!

Glancing at my storage bag I couldn't help but sigh. Sadly, even now I couldn't open the storage bag since I hadn't reached the Middle stage of the Qi Refinement realm. When I could awaken my spiritual sense and finally see what other goodies my predecessor found within that cave all those years ago.

[Ding! You have awakened the Multiversal Chaos Gacha system!]

[You currently have 2 random platinum and 1 random gold gacha ticket. Would you like to use the gacha tickets?]

My eyes widened and for a moment I couldn't help but quickly slap my leg. Feeling the pain I could confirm that this wasn't a dream and if it were then which powerful cultivator would have the free time to casually place me, a little qi Refinement realm cultivator under an illusion spell?

"Use gacha tickets!" I almost shouted in joy as I could imagine the future achievements that this system could give. From what most systems I understood and read about in my previous life. Most gave powerful items, traits, and more. As long as I obtained favorable traits or even powerful companions or pets.

Those loyal to me due to the system wouldn't I just take off? And those gacha tickets were probably buffed because of how dangerous the Xianxia world I was in truly was. Don't be fooled by my little cultivation and lifespan. Those Foundation Establishment and Golden Core cultivators could destroy cities with sword strikes or divine abilities!

And now, with this incredible opportunity, I would be able to join those ranks sooner or later!

Honestly, my luck really exploded...but when you consider the fact that I had 2 random platinum gacha tickets and a gold one. Then maybe my luck was a little bad.

Opening the storage system, I took out the [Darksteel Gauntlets] and for a moment I couldn't help but admire them. If they were created in this world then they would probably be a Magical artifact. Maybe even a Half or pseudo-spiritual artifact, just given the effects it had.

But now with this... isn't the easiest way to obtain gacha tickets to either become the founding ancestor of a family or sect? Or even both?

I rubbed my chin and for a moment plans to establish my own family line and a sect were forming. If I could summon a few companions be they male or female, I could obtain powerful helpers loyal to me. Even if the children of said followers' loyalty wouldn't be as complete as those summoned personally.

Of course, those summoned would have both luck and fate. So they would probably have a chance to step onto the Immortal Path through the Martial Dao.

And some lucky ones, due to my own luck, could also be blessed by the Heavenly Dao and be granted or naturally have spiritual roots.

Why? Because the strength of the Heavenly Dao needed cultivators to grow stronger, it needed the luck and fate of other worlds to grow stronger. Of course, this was merely my own interpretation of the Heavenly Dao of the cultivation world. After all, even the Heavenly Dao desired to grow. Otherwise, this world with powerful beings would not continue to grow stronger.

Or something like that.

"Wouldn't I obtain merit because of this? Hahaha, the Heavens will bless my family and my sect once I summon those with heavenly fate" I muttered to myself as I glanced down towards where the village was.

For now, I was far too weak to even establish a Qi Refinement cultivation family. Even with my [Darksteel Gauntlets] magical artifact was powerful enough to boost me into the strength range of the Late stage of the Qi Refinement. I wouldn't dare actually ambush a late-stage Qi Refinement cultivator.

Even if a loose cultivator was weaker than a sect cultivator due to differences in techniques and abilities. Most loose cultivators were ruthless people who clawed their way up from the bottom. Anyone who reached a high cultivation base was someone with luck, opportunities, and intelligence.

Who knows how many trump cards loose cultivators held and because of this I wouldn't hunt those powerful cultivators even if I knew that I would obtain far better gains than hunting weaker ones.

For now, I should take the Family route and slowly create a Cultivation Clan. Hopefully, once I create this family I'll obtain some gacha tickets. Surely establishing a Cultivation clan was worthy of a feat...right?

====

Creating some homes on the mountain was easy enough. Sure, I could have expanded my own small shack that stood at the top of the mountain. In the end, it would still be my own cultivation room and I didn't need others staying nearby. What if I got distracted and ended up causing a Qi deviation? I wouldn't know if I would go on a killing spree or just accept that I didn't have an Immortal fate.

Which was hilarious since I was already a cultivator.

Expanding my harem was easy enough, all I had to do was go out and show off my wealth and strength. But first...I needed to find a way to test spiritual roots. I already had one but it wasn't in the best condition.

For now, I needed to go back to the marketplace and buy a spirit testing stone. Sure, I could also buy an expensive pagoda like a spirit testing magical artifact but I didn't feel like spending tens of thousands of spiritual stones on a barely forming cultivation clan.

Closing my eyes I sat down in my cultivation room and slowly took a deep breath.

"Finally finished for today..."

It's been nearly a week since I finally ascended to the Second Layer of Qi Refinement. I was already making great progress towards the Third Layer. Once I reached the third layer I'd probably go to the marketplace and set up my plan. Both, to buy a spirit testing stone and to hunt down some weak loose cultivators.

I was in dire need of spiritual stones and other resources after all.

...

"Good, good remember this home has to be similar to a small mansion. I don't care how much it costs to build it, I just want it done and built beautifully" I stated ordering around a hundred or so mortals. Watching as they quickly ran off to bring more materials, I watched with a smile. Spending thousands of silver taels. I was able to finally begin construction of my mansion near my stone shack.

Sadly, I realized that if I didn't build it nearby then I wouldn't be able to rush and help my women and any children I had in the future.

"Don't worry Master Ma, I garentee then even amongst the builders in the great city's. My boys can get this done faster and better built! As long as you have no objection to how much silver and gold is spent." A tall fatty said with a grin as he pointed towards the mansion being built.

"But. Do you really want it built next to this stone shack?" The fatty pointed towards my home and I just shook my head.

"Leave it. Remember, some things are best not spread around" I don't know when or how but this damned fatty somehow figured out that I was a cultivator. Although he didn't understand how powerful I was and I didn't care about his little plans. The fact that he talked about his daughters often really made it clear how respected and feared cultivators really are.

The fatty nodded and quickly ran off to help the workers build.

In the meantime I practiced some spells a bit further away...
