Dohyun and Nayeon went to a theme park the following day. Dohyun hired someone to take pictures and record their time there.
Nayeon was so excited, and Dohyun was too. When she spotted a game that she knew she was good at, she abruptly grabbed Dohyun's hand and led him to the game that she wanted to play. It was the kind of game where there were rubber ducks floating on water and you had to get them using a long hook.
Dohyun seemed uninterested but Nayeon made him play with her. Nayeon ended up winning multiple times as usual. Dohyun felt defeated. He then took Nayeon to another game after she collected her prize. Nayeon felt confident that she wouldn't lose to Dohyun but unfortunately, Dohyun proved to be insanely good at the game they were playing. Target shooting.
Nayeon was getting frustrated that Dohyun kept on winning against her. Dohyun seemed to love how frustrated she was getting.
"Hehe..." He laughed. "You're so cute when you're frustrated."
Nayeon blushed. She was getting that butterfly feeling again.
"Just wait." She said. "I will win in the next round!"
"Alright. Show me what you've got."
Nayeon went for her aim and took a deep breath before launching the dart at the target. Unfortunately, she missed. And she tried again and again but kept missing. Dohyun however, kept winning.
After they finished playing target, Dohyun came to Nayeon with a bunch of prizes he was holding. She was sitting on a bench and sulking.
Dohyun laughed.
"Not so fond of losing, are you, Nayeon?" He teased her.
Nayeon snapped.
"I should have won! Why is that game so hard for me, but so easy for you!?" The tone in her voice showed that she was clearly upset. Dohyun made sure that the cameraman did not capture any of her tantrums.
Dohyun sat beside Nayeon and gave her all the prizes he had won.
"These are for you." He said.
Nayeon refused them.
"They are what you won, so you have to take them." She said.
"You know, Nayeon. I was only trying so hard to win because I wanted to get you all these prizes. I didn't know that you would get so upset. I'm sorry."
Nayeon looked up into his eyes and saw the guilty expression on his face.
"No. I'm the one who's supposed to be sorry. I do act like a baby sometimes, and it's definitely nerve-wracking for other people."
Dohyun chuckled.
"So that time you attacked Leah, were you also being a baby?"
"Well, you could say that..."
"Please, I did my best to earn you these prizes. Are you really just going to refuse them all?"
Nayeon looked at the prizes. There were many items among them that intrigued her.
"Oh, well. If you insist, I shall accept them."
"Thank you, Nayeon."
"Nope. I should be thanking you."
Nayeon thought that for a split second she saw Dohyun's face got red as he smiled, as if he were blushing. She came to the conclusion that she had probably just imagined it all.
"So, what would you like to do next?" Dohyun asked.
Nayeon looked around and heard screams coming from a roller coaster.
"That." She pointed at the roller coaster.
Dohyun followed where her finger was pointing and almost looked horrified.
"You want to scream too? You're definitely one brave girl, Nayeon."
"Come on, let's go."
They boarded the roller coaster as soon as the previous set of people came off. The security fastened them well onto their seats and Nayeon felt a rush of excitement and fear through her body. Dohyun, who was sitting next to her, looked very calm.
The ride started off very slowly until it progressively gained speed and got faster. Amd before they knew it, the ride was going crazy fast and it did loops and other fast things. Dohyun was enjoying it, but Nayeon was screaming her lungs out throughout the entire ride.
When the ride ended, Nayeon rushed into the public restrooms and threw up. Dohyun patiently waited for her to come out and asked her if she was okay.
"Are you okay, Nayeon?" He asked.
Nayeon looked pale.
"Yeah, I am." She said. "That ride is not for the weak."
"Yeah, you should have seen you face. You were screaming so much that I thought I would go deaf."
"My bad..."
Nayeon suddenly ran back into the restroom to throw up again. Dohyun also made sure that the cameraman didn't get that as well.
She came back looking paler than ever.
"Dohyun, I don't feel so good." She said.
Dohyun looked really concerned.
"That's enough theme park for today. Let's take you to a hospital."
"But I still want to try out more games."
"We'll come back another time. I promise."
Dohyun took Nayeon to a hospital where they examined her and gave her medicine and treatment.
"Thank you, Dohyun." Nayeon said once she was feeling better.
"No problem. Let's go home so that you can rest." Dohyun said.
They went back to Dohyun's residence where Nayeon got proper rest, and felt much better than before.
All the videos and pictures that the cameraman had taken of them were uploaded online and people loved all the moments they had shared at the theme park.
