Oh man this was bad I thought lifting a bloodied hand to my face...it's not fair, it's not fair at all! I raged why does this shit always happen to me I thought feeling tears well up in my eyes.
I feel so cold.
I can't move my limbs.
I am scared.
Flashes of my life go through my mind.
My parents giving me away seperating me from my sisters because I didn't have magic circuits, the orphanage, the hate I got from the other kids, the matrons and corrupted officials stealing away the money my father set for me, meeting my sisters again only to be coldly ignored by them, and always alone.
I shouldn't have trusted those guys I thought remembering the betrayal of my 'friends' as they ran off with the money we stole together only for them to turn their backs on me and stab me.

A burning pain erupts in my chest, but it's not like before this isn't death.

Around me the alley is still soaked in blood my blood but my wounds are closing flesh knits itself back together like watching time in reverse.

The sounds of sirens soon reach my ears and I quickly stand up adrenaline rushing through my veins I had to leave now before the cops came.
Placing the hood of my blue hoodie on I started running.
I darted through the narrow streets of Fuyuki the cold night air burning my lungs. My heart thudded wildly not just from exertion but from the sheer impossibility of what had just happened.
I was alive but I know I was dying though.
I slid into another alleyway and pressed my back against the wall, panting. The glowing blue screen still hovered in my vision, following me like an ever-present ghost.

I swallowed hard as footsteps echoed from the street behind me.

I bolted again ignoring the stabbing pain in my legs I needed to escape and get back to my apartment.
I don't know how I did it but I eventually made it back to my apartment.
I let out an exhausted sigh trying to process everything.

Just what in the hell is this thing I thought seeing all of the notifications.
It looked a lot like a RPG video game system or something.
I knew of somethings from the moonlit world but nothing about this.

So this thing is supposed to help me? But why? I wondered as another notification popped up.

I rose a brow at before letting out a laugh "hahaha yeah you're really hilarious aren't you clearly I must be imaging whatever the hell you are, what I need is to get some sleep maybe then I'll wake up sane again."
With that I closed the screens before closing my eyes and drifting off into the blissful land of dreams.
The timer on the quest slowly went down over the course of seven hours until finally a notification went off.

[Survive Being Chased by the Poison-Toothed Giant Desert Centipede For 2 Hours!]
"Huh? What the hell!" I screamed waking up the sight of everything in my apartment shaking until a bright flash of light engulfed my vision.
"Holy shit what the fuck is that!!" I shouted staring down at the giant red worm monster with sharp teeth and red eyes it roared.
My feet move before it can try to eat me.
I looked down spotting a timer.

As if spotting the notification the monster increased it's speed so I forcefully ran even faster screaming for my life "AhhhhhhHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Time passes slowly to me the longer I waited for the timer to go off.
Until finally

I gulped running even faster feeling the hot sand on the ground dig deep into my feet which made me wince.

Then with a hard thump I landed against the wall of my apartment with a groan "fuckkk!" I hissed while clutching my throbbing chest and head.

Tiredly I glanced up at the screen "penalty...quest..." I muttered in disbelief before falling into unconsciousness.
