After several hours, Luo Guang finished his daily training. He and Est took a shower, then went to bed and fell into a deep sleep.
The Next Morning
Luo Guang woke up to a morning kiss from Est.
"You're getting pretty good at this, Est," Luo Guang said, picking her up with a soft smile.
When she first appeared, Est was completely naive. But somehow, she learned these things on her own and did it every morning.
"As long as you like it, Luo Guang," Est said. Although her face showed no emotion, she was very happy on the inside.
"Then I'd like it even more if you'd take off your stockings," Luo Guang teased.
He watched as the emotionless Est suddenly became shy. She curled her legs and arms and, with a flushed face, whispered, "That's perverted... I can't... take off my stockings."
"Hahaha..."
Afterward, it was the usual routine of going to school.
Rias didn't seek him out today, but Koneko did talk to him a bit. She had gone home and immediately started watching the spin-off anime for Cyberpunk 2077 and was now halfway through it.
"The rest of the story is even better. I think you'll like it," Luo Guang said with a smile.
He couldn't help but want to laugh when he thought about the expression Koneko would have when she watched the final episode. But he had to hold back.
Later, Luo Guang occasionally looked at Eriri, and the half-European girl would turn her head away in a pout.
He didn't even have to guess why. It was undoubtedly because of what happened at lunch yesterday.
But he didn't pay it any mind. Eriri's personality would be back to normal in a few days.
Another day passed.
After eating dinner with Est, Luo Guang was about to go out to buy groceries for the next few days. He got on his motorcycle and sped off into the distance.
Grocery shopping didn't take long, but on the way back, Luo Guang suddenly sensed something and took a different route.
At the same time...
Under the rainy night, a private gathering was taking place in a coffee shop in the suburbs of the city. The "Antique" coffee shop, which was supposed to be open until late, had a "closed" sign on its door. However, a faint light still peeked through the drawn curtains.
Inside the coffee shop, two groups of people were facing off in the open space. The once-tidy tables and chairs were now scattered on the floor, making the place look messy. The atmosphere was tense and aggressive.
A tall, blond man with the nickname "Jason" had a scaly kagune extending from his back. Another person standing beside him was covered in a black robe and wore a white mask with a snarling face. There were also two figures in blue robes with X-shaped masks.
Standing opposite them were a few people in coffee shop uniforms.
"I've already told you, this isn't a request, it's a demand. You must join our organization," the blond man, Jason, said with a sinister grin.
"Impossible! Don't even think about it!" Touka Kirishima said, her eyes wary of the people in front of her.
After school, she had gone to the coffee shop for work as usual. The place, named "Antique," was a gathering place for ghouls who could eat human food normally. They stayed away from conflict and just wanted to live as ordinary people in this world.
But their peaceful lives were not to last. Tonight, Touka encountered ghouls who still feasted on human flesh. They had always kept to themselves, but she never expected something like this to happen.
The moment they walked in, these people demanded that they join their organization.
"We are not like you. Get out of here before this gets messy!" Touka had no sympathy for these people who were disrupting their peaceful lives.
"That won't do. I told you, you have no right to bargain. Agree now, or die," Jason said, using his kagune to sweep away the items on the counter.
"Bastards!" Touka and the other two clenched their teeth.
A corpulent man among them roared, and his kagune ripped through his clothes, striking out with immense force. Its momentum was ferocious and in no way inferior to Jason's. Judging from the shape and color of his kagune, his strength might even be superior.
However, just then, the two figures in black robes behind Jason suddenly threw off their robes, revealing what looked like light swords.
Seeing this, the corpulent man's face changed in shock. In that moment of hesitation, Jason used his kagune to hit him, sending him flying.
Even so, Touka and the others still wore expressions of disbelief when they saw the things the other side was holding.
"Those things..."
"Never seen them before? This is a power given to us by our masters, the Fallen Angels."
"You... you're working with Fallen Angels?!"
At these words, Touka and the others were even more shocked than before.
