Chapter 18 - CHAPTER 18: TERMINATION OF CONTRACT 3

The more he thought, the more fearful he became.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he did several mental calculations. Once he was done, he snapped his eyes open and looked at Queen while ignoring Liam, whose presence was very little. Besides, in Harrison's eyes, Liam didn't matter.

He just needed to coax this tigress and be done with it. "Who is his agent? I will call him or her and have them terminate the contract without any fee. How about that?" he pleadingly suggested, his tone filled with flattery.

Liam watched in awe as Queen settled the matter on her own without his intervention at all. He didn't understand what was truly going on and why this CEO, who was always known for his aloofness, though there were rumors of his playfulness circulating in the company, was so afraid of Queen.

What kind of existence was she?

Could it be that just like his wife, Queen was a big shot as well?

Suddenly, Liam didn't know what to think at all.

On the other side, Queen was very satisfied with Harrison's flattery. Once he had given in, she hurriedly stated a name, and Harrison was eager to handle the matter as quickly as possible.

So, on the second floor, and in a certain office, Andrew who was busy cussing Liam for switching his phone on him after he promised to come to the office and yet was nowhere to be seen, was startled when he received a call from the CEO's office.

As he made his way upstairs, he couldn't help but rub his hands nervously as he asked himself repeatedly.

'Why am I needed there?'

He just didn't get it or understand why he was even called there. After all, he had never met with the CEO privately before. They didn't have any dealings with each other. Moreover, the artists that the CEO was currently favoring weren't under him. There was nothing that could bring them together. So why were they suddenly meeting?

He couldn't help but be nervous the more he thought.

After reaching the fourth floor, he wryly looked at the secretaries and cautiously asked, "Do you know why I was called?"

However, the secretary merely smiled faintly without giving out anything, picked up the phone and made a call, "Sir, he is here. Should I send him in?"

Moments later, the secretary put the phone down and smiled politely at Andrew.

"Please, follow me. He is waiting for you inside," she said politely as she started moving.

Andrew, upon seeing that, clenched his jaws wanting to cuss the female secretary for acting all pompous and mysterious. Wasn't she also an employee like her? So, why make such a fuss?

Tap. Tap. Tap.

The secretary knocked on the door and a male deep voice sounded, "Send him in!" the female secretary opened the door before gesturing for Andrew to enter.

"Please!"

Andrew could only suppress all emotions and nodded politely and thankfully at the secretary before stepping into the office, filled with nervousness and anxiety.

"Sir!" he respectfully called as he looked at the man currently facing him before becoming more nervous as he looked at the two backs. He couldn't really see who they were.

Harrison sized the agent who had just stepped in and couldn't help but clench his jaws as he thought about how it was this person who had made him suffer so greatly under the pressure from Queen.

There was sleaziness about this agent that he didn't like, and he could now understand why Liam wanted to terminate his contract. But why did he have to suffer when it was this man who caused all these problems?

He could only hate Andrew. It would be unreasonable if he dared bare his fangs at Queen or Liam at this stage. Who knows which rich big shot Queen was standing for this time?

"Enter and close the door!" Harrison's cold voice sounded in the office and Andrew stilled, sensing that the CEO wasn't exactly happy to see him. He was scared of the crimes he might have committed but wasn't aware of.

After closing the door, he hurriedly made his way to where the three people were seated and politely stood on the side where the male was seated. It was too bad that he couldn't see the man's face properly. Moreover, he didn't even have the luxury of doing such. After all, the CEO didn't seem to be particularly happy at seeing him.

"Do you know why I called you here?" without going around in circles, Harrison asked Andrew coldly.

Andrew nervously looked at the CEO and cautiously answered, "I am afraid that I am clueless. Please enlighten me!" his heart raced wildly at being in such a situation where he was in the dark.

'Which idiot caused me trouble?' Andrew desperately wished he knew that person at that very moment. And if he happens to know who that person was. Once he was out of the office, he would show that person what he was dealing with.

However, he had never expected that his sorcerer was currently sitting next to him. Perhaps he had never cared much, ever since he felt that Liam was no longer in use. Otherwise, how could he not even recognize the head of the artist he personally scouted back then?

Harrison scoffed as he looked at Andrew, who didn't seem to have recognized Liam and asked, "Do you have an artist named Liam, under you?" trying to gauge the man's reaction and surely it was colorful.

When Andrew heard that name, his anger shot through the roof and began to complain angrily. "Sr, you don't know how unruly he is. He doesn't listen and doesn't take the company's resources seriously. He was supposed to meet me today, and yet he is nowhere to be seen. I don't know who he offended this time, considering that he didn't give the directors and cast of Your Beautiful Voice any face recently. But whatever he did, I didn't put him to it. I swear!"

He hurriedly washed his hands of Liam's recent actions. Thinking about how the director called and yelled at him for how Liam acted that other night. Andrew was so angry, he wished he could see Liam right now and teach him a lesson.

When the three people heard that, they couldn't help but be in awe, completely taken aback by the man's shamelessness.

Liam, the person in question, chuckled dejectedly as he turned his head so that he was facing Andrew. Perhaps the way he turned his head was so eye-catching that Andrew unconsciously looked at him and then his jaws dropped.

"You ….. what are you doing here?" Andrew asked panickily as he looked at Liam he had been dying to see and even spoke ill of just seconds ago.

How could he be here?
