Callie's POV
My eyes fluttered open, light cascading in through the window, I moaned in frustration. I was so tired.
I tried pulling the covers over my face. They were stuck on somthing. I opened my eyes, this room was unfamiliar, definitely not Jaz's place.
As I took in the unfamiliar surroundings a hand wrapped around my middle and pulled me in.
My back was flush with a muscular torso. I froze. Where was I. Last I remembered I was at the club.. with Jax and Alfie.
We'd been arguing about me dancing, about the mate bond. Then Jax kissed me, a raw passionate, possessive kiss that stole the air from my lungs. I'd never felt anything like it. I'd always heard first kisses were anticlimactic, built up in our minds only to be disappointed.
It was definitely nothing like I'd imaged. It was perfect. Raw and hungry.
My mind drifted to Alfie, his kiss different to Jax but the effect was powerful.
Remembering the way his fingers had touched my wetness, how he'd licked my juices from his fingers after I'd exploded over them.
The memories flooded back, a warmth grew in my stomach, my panties soaked just at the thought.
The arm around me tightened, pulling me closer "hmm mine" Jax's voice whispered contently as he buried his nose in my neck.
So I was still with them. This must be their home.
As I tried moving Jax's arm to get off the bed I heard the door quietly click shut, someone had come in.
"Well well well, what do we have here?" Alfie's voice flooded the room mischievously.
I froze. Jax stirred, rolling over to look at Alfie and then back to me. A smirk plastered on his face.
"Good morning darling, did you not get enough last night?" Jax's voice husky, still half asleep.
I frowned questioningly, tilting my head slight as I thought about his words.
"We can smell your arousel, Callie." Alfie said taking a deep breath. "Goddess you'll be the death of me"
My cheeks burned red, I pulled the covers up covering myself -"what.. what happened last night?" I whispered. Unsure if I wanted the answer.
After sharing a glance, Alfie walked towards the bed, setting himself down at the foot of the bed.
"You were a very naughty girl last night." He said calmly.
My eyebrow raised in confusion.
"Callie, what you did last night can't happen again." Jax cut in, firmly.
"I didn't do anything wrong, I was working…. What were you two doing there anyway?" I questioned, folding my arms.
"It's our club, we were there to discuss business with Levi, until you distracted us."Alfie said, his tone playfully firm.
Jax sighed. "Look Callie, we're your fated mates, I know Jaz has explained what that means for us wolf shifters…. It's a lot for you to accept,we know, but you still aren't at one with your wolf and you need to know how that made us feel.what that did to our wolves. Seeing other men looking at you on that stage, your body.." he drifted off.
Alfie cleared his throat quietly.-" It drove us and our wolves insane, possessive and jealous. We are alphas, our mate bonds are especially powerful." He paused, silence spilled into the room. I looked down at my hands, fiddling with the bed sheet.
"We just want to protect and look after you. If you'll allow us that much at least… we can talk about the rest later. We don't want to force you into making any decisions about the bond before you're ready. We just ask you keep your mind open. We know Knox hurt you but he's not…he's just struggling. He's not a bad person. Truly." Jax said.
His words swam through my mind, I felt a stir inside.
Alfie chuckled. I think your wolf has an opinion.
My eyes shot to his face. He was smiling, I raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Your eyes flashed gold, that was your wolf, she's trying to come out."
I was shocked. Has this stirring feeling been my wolf this whole time.
I sat there, contemplating their words. Knox had hurt me but these two made me feel somthing I'd never felt before. And last night that rush of excitement, arousel. It was undeniably overwhelming.
The morning breeze swept through the open window sending chills through me.
"Here" Jax said and he stood, crossing the room to a dresser, he pulled open a draw and grapes a t-shirt. "Put this on, stay warm" he said gently, handing me the shirt.
I unfolded it, quickly pulling my head and arm through.
The scent of the forest after rain engulfed me, I settled back into the beds headboard.
"I have some conditions.." I said softly. They're eyes locked on me, faces remaining gently.
"Anything" they said in unison.
I chuckled softly. "If I agree.. we take this slowly. I won't make any decisions until I at least have my wolf." They nodded as if it was a given.
"And we're completely honest with each other" another nod of agreement.
"I'd like to keep staying with Jaz for the time being.." with reservations they nodded again.
"And I'd like to continue working a.."
"No!" They burst out together.
Jax looking conflicted, sighed "I know you'd like to work to save for collage… somthing we'd happily pay for." I opened my mouth to object, Alfie held his hands up as if surrendering.-" but we know you're independent and would like to earn it yourself." I nodded- it was like they knew what I was thinking.
"We'd like to offer you a new job… Luna in training" Jax said proudly.
I raised my eyebrow skeptically.
"You'd help our mother with Luna duties. She will help train you alongside Jaz and us. You'll get to meet our people, explore the pack and learn what being a Luna means" Alfie added.
"Okay" I said after taking a moment to think over their proposal.
"Great! Now how about I get us something to eat, you must be starving" Alfie beamed.
The mention of food had my stomach grumble. I nodded, a blush radiating over my cheeks.
In the spirit of sticking to our new conditions I felt it was time to be honest about somthing.
"Umm..Jax, Alfie..I, I need to tell you somthing." They exchanged worried glances.
"It's nothing bad, I just, since we're being honest." I looked away from them, unable to maintain eye contact.
This was so embarrassing.
"I'm a, a virgin." My confession was met by a short silence, a smile cracked on their faces.
Great.
Annoyance started to flare inside me, before I could say anything Alfie placed his hand on mine soothingly. "We know." He whispered.
I was dumbfounded.
"How?" I stuttered.
"Well… last night." Jax said, embarrassment grew in my cheeks as I recalled the events- their kisses, Alfie's fingers rubbing my folds, the feeling of tightness as he pushed his fingers..
"Callie!" Jax's voice broke my train of thought abruptly. His eyes darkened.
"Unless you want us to fuck you right here, you need to stop. We can smell your arousel." He said, tone domineering.
I blushed-"sorry"
"It's okay sweetheart, let me get that breakfast, you stay and rest." Alfie said as he rose from the bed and exited the room.
Jax lay next to me, I settled in beside him, his arms instantly wrapping around mine, his fingers stroked the outline of my arm softly. A wave of calmness and sanctuary washed over me. Sleep called me as I closed my eyes.
I felt a dip in the bed, the smell of bacon and eggs filled the room. "Hey sweetheart" Alfie's voice came softly lulling me out of my sleep as he gently brushed a strand of hair from my face.
I sat up slowly, taking in the sight before me.
