Chapter 1 - 1 - Makoto Shigaraki

Deep red eyes looked ahead, a sly smirk dancing on his lips as he raised his milkshake to drink.

*Slurp

Although loud, it was ultimately drowned out by the intense explosions that was happening before him.

'It's all playing out just as I remember.'

His grin widened, seeing a green haired girl running into the midst of it all, throwing her bag into the sludge' eye, causing to stagger momentarily. However, through that, she was able to lift a bit of the burden on the blonde haired girl.

The green haired girl then desperately clawed at the villain, tears streaming down her face as she muttered words he couldn't hear.

Then briefly turned around the next second.

This wasn't his business, and this wasn't what he came here for.

Well, the villain was what he came here for, but seeing the growing crowd and the heroes on standby, he can't reach to him without raising suspicions.

Not long after he left the scene, he heard a boisterous laughter and the loud *Boom* that shook the heavens, parting way for the number 1 hero.

*Telulululu, telulululu, telulu-

"The villain is caught."

He started before the voice on the other side could even inquire.

A dry, hoarse voice responded back, the type of sound made when one neglected their own hydration. But the boy didn't mind it, after all, they had been living together for a long while now.

"And what of father' reaction on the matter?"

"What about school?"

Through the phone, the white haired youth could feel a twinge of irritation and haste.

'Probably wants me to share the burden of training.'

He thought, sighing to himself.

It was a hassle, the training regimen his father had given both him and his disciple. It could even be considered a hell of a training regimen, one that was worse than baldy one smack guy.

"Yeah, I'll be there in a bit."

Turning the alleyway, he promptly disappeared when no one had their sights on him.

"I'm home."

From the bathroom, he emerged, still wearing the same outfit, still holding the same drink.

"I really gotta ask dad for a new quirk, that shit is not convenient."

He closed the door with a click and threw the empty cup in the bin next to the rest room.

What he had arrived to was a place akin to a bar. Stools, alcohol, a bartender, an emo girl on a hood drinking her life away.

Everything looked normal to him.

Without thinking much of it, he strode to a stool, swiftly taking a seat as he leaned on the counter.

"Tequila, make it strong."

The bartender looked at him for a moment, its piercing yellow eyes staring at his own crimson ones before turning around and placing a milkshake infront of him.

"Alcohol isn't allowed for minors."

The boy' shoulders slumped as he grumbledt o himself, taking the milkshake and making a loud enough slurp that would annoy anyone else. Except for them, for they knew that when the young master isn't satisfied, he would annoy them to no end until they follow his wishes.

The best way to deal with such a spoiled brat was to ignore him completely.

As the youth drank his beverage, the intensity of him drinking slowed as his thoughts wandered elsewhere.

Makoto Shigaraki, that was his new name in this world, a world where people with abilities run rampant, either playing hero or abusing it by becoming villains.

When he had awoken 12 years ago, he didn't know his connection to the number 1 villain. For all he knew at the time, AFO was just a loving man with a wife and child.

It didn't take long before heroes stormed their house and tried to apprehend his father, with All Might leading the charge.

It was also the battle which had made his father who looked like a heartthrob into a potato head. And it was also in that battle, where he had lost his wife and technically lost his child as well.

Although Makoto was no longer the original Makoto, but rather a depressed, edgy teen from another world, he had come to love the place he lived in.

I mean, come on, did no one really ever entertain the fact of reincarnation and becoming an enemy to the protagonist? Sure it might to his imprisonment and/or death, but it would still be fun.

He then set down the drink as he turned to the hooded woman, her long light blue hair making it difficult to see her face from the side.

"So, where's dad?"

The blue haired girl didn't answer him, only taking a shot glass filled with alcohol and downing it in one go.

*Clack

"He's in the room by the hall, you won't miss it."

Kae turned her head to young Makoto, her crimson eyes locking onto his as a sort of invisible spark appeared on both their eyes.

(A/N : fem shiggy >:3)

Kurogiri ignored this petty rivalry and continued to wipe the glass cups—although no one used them other than Makoto and Kae.

Makoto then smirked, his eyes trailing the bandages Kae tried to hide under her clothing, an amused glint reflecting in his eyes.

"You lost the assessment test again didn't you?"

He spoke with a hint of mockery, one that specifically tried to make the sting hurt more than it did.

*Crackle.....

The glass cup in her hand decayed into nothingness, a result of when she used all five fingers on a single object.

"Whoa there, you should've used that anger at the nomus, not at the glass cup. Oh poor Kurogiri will have one less child to look after~"

He sighed dramatically, his eyes fluttering to the bartender who deliberately ignored him.

Makoto expected as much as he went on a motion to get up.

"Well, I'm off to get my assessment, by that I meant to utterly crush it."

He looked at Kae with a smirk, the person in question narrowing her eyes dangerously at Makoto.

Was he stupid for trying to provoke someone who could kill him with a single touch? Yes, yes he is. Was it worth it? Absolutely.

Without hearing another word from his pseudo sister.

Following what Kae had told him, he reached the door that definitely didn't look like a disney villain' door.

I mean come on, who would decorate their door with menacing gold tiger heads, paint the door with a deep black while simultaneously decorating it with neon lights that flicker ominously.

Surely it wasn't the room of the number one villain, the one that killed the past users of one for all.

"Why did he have to have such a stupid goal....."

He muttered, distinctly remembering how his father preached to be the demon lord of a new era, a world where he would rule everything, all because of a stupid story.

Trashing that to the back of his mind, he entered the room, and immediately cringed.

All For One—his father, sat on a chair like a king, wearing his iconic dark suit as numerous tubes were attached to him, barely keeping him alive.

"Hello, Makoto."

His father grinned, the type of smile that would've sent shivers down one' spine, except for Makoto as he shrugged it off and entered the room, closing the door behind him.

"Sup potato man. I see you're still alive and kicking."

In any normal circumstance, this would be a TERRIBLE joke, considering the danger all for one possessed. But Makoto wasn't in a normal circumstance.

He was his son, and All For One was pretty chill with those he has a close relationship with.

(A/N : *Yoichi eyeing him from the corner* )

"Anyways, what did you want to see me for?"

"Ah, doctor Garaki has told me some interesting theories about your quirk, and I want to see if they are true. Should it prove useful to my cause-"

"You'll use it blah blah blah, come on old man, stop talking like a textbook villain, we're not in the early 2000s anymore, it's just cringe now."

Makoto visibly saw All For One frown, but didn't think much of it.

As much as he appreciated how his father cared for him—in his own weird way, he detests how cringe he sounds.

Sure he may be the big bad of the series, but come on, does people actually find him scary when he sounds like a villain from disney channel? He may have his moments of intimidation, but come on, not everyone finds him scary.

Especially not his own blood spawn who once saw him practicing a monologue infront of a mirror.

'That shit' still hilarious.'

Makoto thought, suppressing the urge to chuckle at the sudden memory of his father talking about a grand ambition.

"Moving on from that, come here."

The mastermind beckoned to Makoto, his movements slow and deliberate. Was it to make it look like nothing was a care to him and that he was above all? Nah, it was just all for one straining his body.

'Though I wonder how he managed to face All Might in their second to last encounter.'

He pushed that thought behind him, it was gonna be a useless memory soon enough anyway.

Stopping infront of his father, he lowered his head as he felt a hand grab the back of his head, a tingling sensation flowing from it to within his body.

At first, it was like a harmless water spray, subtly coating him in water, but in the next second...

"Urgh-?!"

It was like a raging torrent that crashed on to him and he was forced to stay on his ground.

As his father transferred the quirks to him, a surge of memories start to invade his own.

Memories not his own appeared one after another in a mish mash of mixed emotions that shifted as fast as it appeared.

His sense of taste numbed, the flavors of different food crashed together in an instant, sending him into a mentally confused state—if only for a moment.

And then, calmness.

"Huff, huff, huff....."

He breathed out, mentally fatigued from the toll of quirk transfer.

Such an experience would've sent a normal person spiraling to insanity, no wonder people turn into nomu when they were given more quirks than they could handle.

'With the sole exception of the wielders of One for all and All for one of course.'

He joked in his mind, wiping the sweat on his forehead. That much was almost enough to make him lose his sense of self, pushing his mind and body to near their limits.

He had only managed to pull through because it wasn't a strong enough quirk to dominate his own. Unfortunately, it also made him realize that his quirk couldn't scale to much high levels of power at the moment.

"Go on, let me see how well you can use your new quirk."

All For One instructed, his expression beaming ith anticipation.

Makoto didn't hesitate, finding in his new memories the way to use the quirk.

*Fwoosh!

Sharp winds cut through the air, leaving its mark embedded to the steel wall, a small mark. All For One let out a satisfied smile.

It seems his son could truly take on his quirk, to be able to adapt to the usage of a quirk not his own, truly the pinnacle of quirk adaption. Even he struggled to use most of his stolen quirks even after years of using them.

Unknown to All For One, Makoto focus wasn't on his new ability, but rather, the holographic blue screen that appeared before him.
