Chapter 1 - The beginning. Ray, someone who is known for being a bloodthirsty tyrant in Austria, redirected a wave of time magic from the dragon in front of him to his side.

"Your resistance is both pitiful and futile" Ray said, sounding more bored with a fight than anything.

Raise words seem to enraged the dragon more than it already had been. "Boy I've been in this void for over eight millennia. If you think someone who hasn't even been here long enough to know of my strength can beat me then you are more foolish than I thought." The words would have sounded much more intimidating if the dragon wasn't bleeding enough to drown a country. It's once luminous golden, and silver scales symbolizing elemental affinities for both space and time could barely be seen through the blood that coded its entire body.

"But even in its injured state, it was not to be underestimated" Ray thought, as a blob of ether began to swirl and compress in front of its jaws. Seeing this Ray decided he had had enough fun. His once 3 meter long, great sword shrunk until it was barely a meter along. As the blade grew shorter, its edges seem to grow sharper.

Thinking about something, Ray shrugged before muttering"You can go wrong with a little bit more protection." Then with a flick of his offhand, the one he wasn't using to hold his sword in as the blood around the dragon began to glow.

Before forming into chains of blood, and forcing even more blood out of the wounds, the dragon had. Ray expected this to be enough for the dragon to interrupt it's spell.

But to his shock, it didn't even flinch.

Slowly, the lazy and almost bored expression on his face changed into something more serious. "I always knew fighting with Time space hybrid dragons would be more difficult than fighting ones with only one element."

Ray said as a complex ring of characters seemingly large enough to engulf the sun. If there had been one, and a slightly smaller and less intricate ring of intelligible characters inside of it formed behind him. "This is the third time I've had to use more than 70% of my either to deal with you, and honestly, it's embarrassing."

With that as the only warning he slashed out. The sword seemed entirely normal or as normal as a bone sword can seem all up until it was a foot away from the orb The dragon had shot at him.

"I didn't even notice him launching it." Ray thought, as he funneled more ether into his attack, then first planned. When the orb and the sword met in the void there wasn't a boom.

For what could've been either a second, a minute, a year or even a millennia there was nothing until a sound so insignificant that it wouldn't have been noticed, if not for the defining silence. A sound like shattering glass.

With that sound the orb of space-time magic the dragon had shot forward was severed in half. A silver replica of the sword formed in the void above the dragon dragon except for it was hundreds of times larger."I would say you fought good, but you truly didn't."

Ray said as he got into a stance for slashing. The sword Construct distance that was nearly impossible to comprehend above, copied his movements. "A piece of sage advice. In your next reincarnation become a unicorn everyone loves those."

The dragon Tried to roar in outrage, but as soon as it opened its mouth, blood chains shut down its throat.

"That was a bad decision. Ray said as he saw the dragons predicament.

"Well it didn't change much either way you were going to die. This just made it more painful." With that as the only warning Ray finally/down.

The silver ginormous blade of either didn't seem to actually move. It looked almost as if it had only expanded, like a fan being spread wide.

Just for a moment, the void around them was died silver, and then it impacted the dragon. The ether didn't act like a sword should it borrowed into its body a racing anything and everything it came in contact with.

It looked almost like a sponge with water, except for water didn't leave only a skeleton behind. when Ray confirmed the dragon was dead he strolled over to its bones that were still wrapped in blood chains.

"This shouldn't take too long close quote Ray said as he raised his hands to chest level, his sword nowhere to be seen

With his eyes which were the same silver as the ether that had killed the dragon narrowing in concentration, he brought his hands together.

The blood making up the chains covering the dragons bones, glowed again, and transformed into two colossal hands, big enough to cover the dragons skeleton hole. When his hands move closer together, the handmade of blood copied his movements.

While his hands came closer together, the sound of popping and crunching came from between the two blood hands "Just a little more and they will be the right consistency for my experiment." Ray said a greedy light in his eyes.

Turns out just a little more WAS nearly 2 millennia of constant grinding before the bones were completely turned into ashes.

As if he didn't notice the passing of time, Ray smirked in triumph when he finally saw the dragons bones in dust form. "Perfect now we can begin."

No one addressed that Ray was talking as if he had people with him for obvious reasons. "now it's just time to compress all of these"

He said, as he pulled a barely hand sized leather bag from a pocket in his wide leg, black leather pants.all of these together."

He said again as he poured enough bone dust to nearly cause some to fall over the massive blood hands edges. "The bone dust from 7 million space dragons check, the bone dust from 13 million time dragons check, the bone dust from a time dragon in the 10th fold check, the bones from a space dragon in the 10th fold check and last but not least the bone dust from 50 million space time dragon hybrids check."

Ray said with the casualness of someone, checking items off a grocery list. "I would like a few more special dragon bones, but beggars can't be choosers."

After saying that he levitated above the two massive hands of blood that we're holding the dragon dust before clapping his hands together, as he did, the dust was squeezed and compressed. His carefree expression changed into one of utter focus as his bronze hair floated behind him due to the buffer of his power.

Ray stayed in that exact spot for nearly 8000 years before the massive ball of blood seem to slightly shrink in size.

After another 40,000 years passed, he finally opened his eyes. "This is taking slightly longer than I first thought it would." Ray said, stroking his collarbone length bronze beard.

Another 50,000 years past as Ray didn't move the ball slowly grew smaller until it was nearly the size of a human person.

When Ray saw this, he floated down to its level before removing the blood inside a sparkling crystal. That was the BURIST white he had ever seen was shown. But his facial expression didn't change.

"there's too much magic in one vessel, it seems I'll have to cut them into two."

With that, as the only warning, a world consuming pressure caused the void to shake. The one massive ring of intricate characters had become two each one more complex than the one before. His expression blank, he put one hand out to the side and his bone bladed sword appeared in his hand.

"Make this quick Xander I have grown tiresome of this place." Ray said the sword, shivering in reply. At a speed that was impossible to track. He cut outward his blade, which was 10 feet when not shrunken down slammed into the human sized white crystal. The crystal was severed in half like hot butter with a knife.

Even with the seeming success raise face didn't change its blank expression. He just wrapped either Side of the crystal in blood before continuing to compress them like he had been doing for millennia.…

Ray could feel it, a realm beyond his current power, and if he could feel it, it meant he was close with that thought he began to rotate the two intricate yet obscure rings of characters in his soul. Then he began to think , always a bad decision win he was the one doing it.

What was the point in reaching the next realm when he would spend his entire existence here? He hadn't always been here , He had once been known as a tyrant of blood and iron. But certain circumstances led to a man as strong as him being trapped in the endless expanse of the void. Thhinking about the seals they had placed on him, One by one caused his fist to clinch."I will make them bleed for that transgression I swear it."

Just as his thoughts began to go down a dark path, he felt a surge of ether he had never experienced before. His eyes snapping open he quickly look down at the two balls of blood, or what used to be balls of blood.

Floating where the orbs of blood used to be were white look to be 10 sided nearly transparent dice. Where a normal dice would show numbers on each side these showed ruins, and considering the kaleidoscope of silver and gold it was giving off Ray had a guess of what element these rooms were a tuned two.

As soon as the two dice hit his palm, Ray knew he had succeeded. he couldn't exactly tell what they did, but just off the power he could feel within each die. He was sure he could do it that he could finally regress.

Ray had been doing all of this killing dragons, gathering their bones, grinding them into powder and compressing them for thousands of years on end all for this moment. Finally, he could go back to a time before the greater world's descended he could change the result he could.

Roar. Raise train of thought, was broken by a roar that was not so far away so far away. As his head snapped in that direction, he saw a strange gold dragon. The dragon was barely 3 miles long but it gave off the aura of a ninth fold cultivator.

For context, Ray was in the seventh fold when he beat the last time space hybrid dragon, and that hadn't taken much effort, so now with him at the peak of the full realm it was almost too easy.

With speed that made lightning seem slow he reached out towards the dragon. From nothing but pure, either a hand of blood formed. Curling his hand into a fist ray, crushed the dragon into paste and off sure habit turned it into a bone orb.

Just as he was about to monologue about his easy victory, the bone orb he had just made suddenly flared with a golden lights before seemingly disappearing.

Looking around for it, he realized in horror somehow the artifacts he had just finished were gone. When he was about to release his 12 fold aura and rage something golden flash towards him.

At the same time somewhere else in the void, a woman who had just finished killing a army of demons, Titans, void beasts, and dragons side in disappointment.

"All of you are just too weak." She muttered under her breath as she pulled her poison back into her body.

"Just a little poison and you all start melting like candles lit with hellfire." Her train of thought was broken by something golden streaking through the void towards her.

Quickly, her head snapped towards it before with no hesitation she activated all the ether in her body and focused it on her right arm.

A purple gauntlet covered in green rooms formed up to her shoulder. Drawing her arm back, she quickly quickly threw forward a punch, the two spinning intricate Runik rings, floating behind her, only amplifying her power.

The attack should have chattered whatever the golden flying thing was, but to her shock, her armor shattered like glass as the object. Which she could see clearly now was some strange kind of dice, slipped through her skin and planted itself in her soul.

Ray was having similar problems problems because the artifact he had thought would be his salvation seem to be becoming his doom.

"How was I supposed to know the ability it had was to shatter the souls of even 12 fold beings." Ray Muttered.as blood poured from all seven

The artifact was somehow sent through his skin and had landed in his soul where the very presence of the artifact was causing his soul to fracture and slowly shatter like a window under too much pressure.

On the other side, the woman whose name is Oleander was facing similar issues. "I'll find who did this and I will make them wish they were dead."

Oleander said her voice dripping with the promise of violence, even as she bled from all seven orifices as well. In one last desperate attempt to remove the artifact she sent ether into it.

On raise side of things, he was already on his last legs. His upright position in the void had changed to him laying down, not that his situation had become that severe, but that he refused to kneel, even

"Really this is how I die. After everything I survived, I die to a artifact of my own creation."

Feeling his life, force fading quickly without a soul to latch onto he he made one last desperate gamble as he forced his ether into the artifact.

As both of them poured ether into the dice, a green thread shot from Oleander and a silver thread shot from Ray, and as they met, they fused.

But the result was the opposite ofTheir souls seemed to have collapsed

As the life of two 12 fold cultivators. No one else knew a new chapter in the universe was just beginning.
