Lucas stood rooted to a spot as he stared at Harmonica's luscious skin. He had never really seen her body before, only having brief sex with her during their marriage.
Now, he couldn't take his eyes off her. He watched as water dripped from her hair to her perky breasts then down to her belly button then to her neatly shaved pussy.
''Get the fuck out!'' Harmonica shouted, startling Lucas. He quickly ran out of the room, the scene replaying in his mind over and over and over again.
Harmonica picked up her towel as she covered her body in shame. She couldn't believe that Lucas was still in her house.
Why the fuck was he even preparing breakfast? Did he think this was some kind of honeymoon?! Stupid pervert!
She kept cursing at him repeatedly for being a shameless manwhore.
How was she supposed to leave the room knowing that he had seen all of her?
She was sure he would have left out of embarrassment.
She shuffled through her closet, picking a professional attire and donning it on.
After that, she picked up her purse and phone and decided to step out. But the smell of the food made her stomach grumble so she had to take a bite.
And another. And another.
Until the whole plate was squeaky clean.
In her three years of marriage, she had never tasted Lucas cooking. Now that she did, she knew she had been missing a lot.
She cleaned her mouth and straightened, heading for the living room where she saw Lucas sitting on the couch lost in thought.
''Are you going to get the fuck out of my house or should I help you?'' Harmonica shouted, bringing Lucas out of his reverie.
''Moni..I can explain.'' Lucas started and Harmonica shunned him with a bombastic side eye.
He only saw a bit of her nakedness and he was already calling her by her pet name.
Screw him!
''Get out!'' She shouted, giving him no room for talks.
With a defeated sigh, Lucas opened the door and left her apartment.
Harmonica plopped in her couch, rubbing her palms against her head.
She could already feel a headache coming from all this stress.
Her phone pinged and she checked it to see a message from her son.
Zade: Mummy don't forget about your promise.
Harmonica smiled and texted him back: I won't.
She got up from the couch and sent a message to her assistant, asking her to send the location of the first building they would be reviewing. After that, she inserted her phone in her purse and picked up her car keys.
After pressing the elevator to the ground floor, Harmonica got out and headed for the garage her steps quickening as she tried to fulfill both her business needs and her son's need.
As she headed for her car, she was surprised to see Lucas leaning on it while tapping his legs on the floor impatiently.
''I have been waiting for you.'' He said, smiling lazily at her.
Harmonica facepalmed. She looked around to see if anyone was around before shoving Lucas away from her car. ''Didn't I tell you to leave?!'' She whisper-yelled, heading for her car door without batting an eye at him.
But Lucas was having none of it. He closed her car door and yanked her forward, his hands gripping her waist tightly while his breath fanned her face.
''Get the fuck off me'' Harmonica challenged, trying to get him off her. She thrashed in his hands but Lucas didn't budge, still holding her in place.
Before she could talk again, he pressed his lips to her, savoring her sweet lips.
Harmonica bit his lips and he winced, jerking away from her. Taking the opportunity, Harmonica raised a hand and slapped him across the cheek.
Tears pricked her eyes as her chest heaved painfully. ''You cheating bastard!'' She shouted, smacking him across the cheek for the second time.
''What do you fucking want?! You left me for Rita. Then now you're trying to be with me again, what do you really want you crazy motherfucker?!'' She shouted, hitting his chest in annoyance.
Without waiting for his response, she hopped into her car and drove away, leaving Lucas looking dumbfounded.
In her car, Harmonica cried once again. She knew changing her apartment wouldn't stop him from coming after her.
Her phone dinged and she picked it up, eyeing the text message stupendously. ''I forgive you for hitting me and getting rid of my baby. You should forgive me too. Because I'm not letting go of you that easy.''
Harmonica immediately knew who sent it. She quickly blocked his number and wiped her eyes, applying light makeup to her face before she stopped at the location her assistant sent her.
''So the locations are actually in one spot. But different floors.'' Cici whispered to Harmonica who nodded her head in approval as they followed behind the real estate manager that was going to show them the place.
After looking through all four buildings, Harmonica decided to take the second one. It was by far the biggest and had this corporate emblem to it.
Moreover, the location was a bit close to the hospital her son usually go for medical checkups. She might as well be dropping him off herself. Instead of putting the whole burden on his nanny.
Nodding her head, Harmonica signed the contract for the second building and she shook hands with the real estate manager.
''Let's get something to drink.'' Harmonica said to cici, remembering that she had seen a refreshment store at the corner.
It was the store that demarcated the building she rented and the hospital.
They both walked in, heading over to the waiteress. ''I'll have chilled coke please. Lots of ice.'' Harmonica said, waiting for Cici to order hers so she could pay.
''I'll have the same thing.'' Cici said and the waitress nodded, going to get their drinks.
Harmonica went to the cashier to pay for both drink and they both stood there till the drinks were ready.
Cici said a silent thank you as she collected hers.
Harmonica also collected hers and followed behind Cici as they made to leave the store.
But she bumped into a hard figure, her drinks spilling on his white shirt.
